Chapter 70

Adira’s POV

My body felt like it was on fire and that I was going to internally combust if Alpha Liam didn’t take me soon. I had pushed myself all day wanting to find the witch that could cure Lyra and now that we had a name, my body gave in, and I needed Alpha Liam to take the pain within me away.

My father was going to have to wait to get his punishment that I was eager to give him. I wanted to be in my best form when that wrath came for him and right now I felt weak as I held onto Alpha Liam with all the strength I had left in me to make it through the lobby and to the elevator.

My heart skipped a beat when Alpha Liam told the manager that I was his wife and I guess in the human world that was what I would be labeled as, but it was wonderful to hear that come from his lips as it made me feel wanted by him. When we finally got to the elevator and the door shut, I let out a sigh of relief as my body went limp within Alpha Liam’s arms.
