Ares' Pov.

“Did you notice how jumpy Justin has been since he got back?” I asked Jason as we prepared for bed.

“It's not something I can help him with. He's refused to talk to anyone. He prefers locking himself in his room.” He answered “I can't force him to do something he's not comfortable with. It's only been a few days. He'll snap out of it soon.”

“It's our fault he's like that. Let's do something about it” I sincerely felt guilty. I feel like I had a hand in pushing him to the state he's in.

I know he might even blame me deep down, but he'd never say it out. He might also blame me for his friends. Hell, I blame myself.

“He's going to be fine, but if you want, I'll send someone to check on him to ease your mind,” he said.

“Do you promise?” I asked

“yes. Now, go to bed”
