-Karen-I rolled over and searched for something to cling to while I tried to go back to sleep afraid to think of where I was. -Karen-I stared at the K in my hand and shook my head again. Bart came back twenty minutes later and carried me to a different room in the medical ward. It was closed off with a door and had a chair on either side of the bed. He sat me on the edge, helped me into a patient gown and then tucked me into the comfortable bed. A bowl of tomato soup, crackers and some grapes were brought to me. I devoured it without mercy not realizing how truly hungry I had become. I rolled over on my right side, curling up into a ball and started to drift to sleep. I think I will leave… He got what he wanted. No point in staying now.
