-Karen-I stared at the K in my hand and shook my head again. Bart came back twenty minutes later and carried me to a different room in the medical ward. It was closed off with a door and had a chair on either side of the bed. He sat me on the edge, helped me into a patient gown and then tucked me into the comfortable bed. A bowl of tomato soup, crackers and some grapes were brought to me. I devoured it without mercy not realizing how truly hungry I had become.
