“Everyone knows that,” Ivorie said as she resisted rolling her eyes again.

“And does everyone know?” Regan asked, crossing his arms.

She shrugged, “The wars, always conquering smaller packs.”

Regan's eyebrows raised, “Okay first, I don't conquer smaller packs. They are strong and formidable packs and it is with my superior strength that I defeat them.” He corrected her, his eyes twitching, “and no, I meant what made me become the Dreaded Warlord.” He added softly.

“Okay,” Ivorie shrugged again, “I'm listening.” She might as well just wait here and spend the evening with him, even though the sight of him half naked and sweaty sent an unknown feeling to the bottom of her stomach.

“We weren't always the greatest pack in the continent, you know,” he began.

“Before the reign of my great-grandfather, Balor, Cresthowl pack was one of the smaller packs in the continent. The pack had little to no resources, hence low numbers in warriors.
