Chapter 51 New Ally

Celine’s POV

I sat at my desk brooding. It had been days since my argument with Phillip, and I was still very angry. It was bad enough I had met that stupid Linda there. I had thought I had seen the last of her months ago, but now here she was, acting like she owned the place. And Phillip was choosing her over me. I still couldn’t believe he had the nerve to ask me to leave his house. I would deal with him for that insult.

All this was no thanks to Rebecca. I had read in nearly every blog her little heroic deed. That was what brought Linda back. But I knew she wouldn’t be staying long, she had a job to get back to and once she was out of the way, I would have Phillip to myself. Or would I? Rebecca was going to be a problem. My dad had promised to handle it and I trusted him, but he hadn’t. What was he waiting for?
