Chapter four

        After Queen finished riding me she stopped, I breathe a sigh of relieved. 

Queen::  So what do you think, how was the journey? (Smiling). 

But at this time I was too exhausted to even say a word. So I slept off. She had no other choice than to sleep too as she laid her head on my chest. 

       After sleeping for like an hour I woke up just to discover it was already late. I was wondering why my friends hadn't come back to get me so I can go home. I got up, let me go check up on my friends and see what's happening ok, I told queen as she shook her head in acceptance.  I knocked on all the three room doors that my friends were logged in but they were not in. Could this be these  guys have gone home without even informing me?  I went back to queen, please get ready, I have to go drop you and get going to my house, my brother must be so worried about me now. 

Have seen six missed calls from Lyod and he hates it when I don't pick his calls. I went and dropped queen and returned home. 

As I just entered the gate, parked my car and was about to enter the house, I heard a voice. 

Lyod::  And where are you coming from by this time big boy? 

I was expecting this but I never knew he will be waiting for me outside. 

Me;;  bro I am really tired. Please can I just explain myself well to you tomorrow, because I am really exhausted as you can see. 

Lyod::  fine then, but tomorrow morning before you go to school, don't even wait that I should ask you again just start explaining yourself okay. 

Me::  yes sir!  (with my hand on my head and legs closed like I was talking to a military officer). 

Lyod::  So have you eaten? Or you will love to have something before you go to bed. 

Me ::   no bro I can't really take anything now, have had enough drinks today already

Lyod::  Drinks huh! You really do have a lot to tell me tomorrow because this was supposed to be your first day in school. 

Me::  goodnight bra, 

I said that to my brother walking like someone who won't be able to reach his room without falling. 

Lyod:: Could it be am spoiling this Johnny of a boy? I thought he will start behaving more responsibly once he enters university. This was just the first day in school and he is already coming home late and half drunk. He better have some good explanations for me tomorrow or else, well let me go and sleep. l went to my bed  and slept. 

        It was the next morning, I woke up feeling so weak, I decided that I won't go to school and  as I was still rumbling on my bed I heard a knock on the door, I knew it must be Lyod. I went and opened the door. 

Me::,  good morning brah, 

Lyod::  Good morning, why were you still in bed? Aren't you going to school today? 

Me:: Brah I feel so weak, I don't think I can make it to school today. 

Lyod::  are you for real John, Do you even have an idea of what I went through just to get you admission and that prestigious school given the ridiculous grades you speed in high school? Anyways that's just by the way, 

Can. You tell me where you were coming from yesterday looking so drunk and stupid? 

Me::  I went out with friends to have fun, 

Lyod :: which of the friends if I may ask,? 

Me:: ha ah brah, of course you know I got just my three friends, Greg, Clark and Fred. What's up with the question and answer session this early morning, I am not a kid any more. 

Lyod::  you went out with your friends? Is it the same friends of yours I saw when I was coming back from work as early as 7pm, why were  you coming back at 10pm if you were truly with them? 

Me::  The thing is I slept off and they left without even telling me. 

Lyod;;  you slept off? And they left without waking you? Can you see your own type of friends you keep? I keep warning you about them but you can't listen, they are a bad influence to you. 

Me;;brah  a big boy oh, you can't choose my friends for me. 

Lyod::  really? I can see your the one being a bad influence to them. Now get inside that bathroom and take your bath, you're going to school whether you like it or not. 

Me::  brah you can't possibly force me to go to school na, 

Lyod:: I can't force you? Let's see about that. I am gonna go get ready for work now. By the time I come back here and you're not dressed for school, you will regret it. 

Me::  I could see Lyod was really angry and going against him this time might cause me a lot, I know he won't lay his hands on me but he will definitely place me under serious punishment like seizing my car or stop giving me my weekly allowances and that was something I never wanted. If such happen, how will I be going to school, how will I brag in school with empty pockets and no car. 

When I thought about this for sometime I quickly ran in, took my bath and got ready for school. I went downstairs and met him in the dinning taking breakfast, the maid quickly brought mine and we ate together. Lyod kept looking at me with a very annoying face but who cares, afterall am doing what he asked of me already. 

Soon he was done eating, called for the maid and informed her if what she would prepare in the evening and he left. Aver a few minutes I was also done I left for school. 

        When I arrived on campus I saw Queen. She had come and stood at the gate with my friends and was actually waiting for me. 

 I normally park my car somewhere just close to the gate but today isn't the same I decided to ignore them and went right inside the campus. I know they will be wondering what 8s happening but I think my brah is  right, maybe it's  time I  distance  myself from such friends, how could they have just left nw in the hotel like that and went home after all have done for them. I parked my car at the third campus car park and went straight to class. 

Greg:: Hey guys haven't you noticed something strange about Johnny's behaviour today?. 

Clark::  sure ma guy I was about saying the same  thing, what could be happening, 

Fred:: how can we find 9ut if we just stand here and continue asking questions amongst ourselves, let's get in and find 9ur what is wrong. 

Queen::Are you three for real? Are you just pretending or you're trying to claim you dont know why my babe is angry? And because of you guys it seems MY baby is now angry with me too 

Greg;;  you seem to know a lot queen, so tell us, why is Johnny angry? 

Clark cut in, 

Clark::  But Greg, wait, so queen you mean to tell us that you have been here waiting for our friend with us knowing fully well that he 7s angry with us and didn't bother to tell us? 

Queen::  how would I have known that he will still be angry till today. You guys left yesterday without even informing him given the fact that he single handedly spent all the money you guys used yesterday, from the drinks to the hotel and all the lite. 

Greg::   hey! Hey! Hey!  Baby girl, hold it  there, insult us okay, what do you mean by he soebtbhis money on us, even if he did, how us that your business, you just knew johnny yesterday, I will advise you don't over push your luck becausevhevis just gonna use and dumb you like the other girls. 

Fred::  hey guy you don't have to speak to a lady that way na, at least be gentle, she us very right, what we d8d was very wrong. 

Clark:: hey Fred shot up, what do you mean by that, even if we are wrong does it give this lady the right to talk to us in that manner? Does she even have an idea of how long we have been friends with johnny and what we have gone through. 

Queen;; as Greg said those hurtful words to me I decided to immediately live then and go meet Johnny. I arrived at the class and saw Johnny sitting down all alone with his laptop. I rushed to him, 

Hey babe, 

Johnny, hey, 

Queen ::  babe what's wrong, are you angry with me too? You and I know have done nothing wrong . 

Johnny:: you have done everything wrong  

  

Queen;; but how babe? 

As we were chatting I was not ev3n looking at queen's face, I concentrated on what I was doing on my laptop. 

Queen:: baby please can you just stop ignoring me? What have I really done, tell me and I will apologize. 

Me;;  what were you doing talking to those ungrateful fools outside? Did you plan to provoke me? How can you be okay standing with guys that abandoned me at my hotel room. 

Queen::  oh! That, am very sorry babe, I thought you gotten over it already,   

Me::  did I just hear you say you've gotten over it? Gotten over what exactly if I may ask you? 

I took them  to the beech, bought drinks for them, did sane to their so called girlfriends, played for their hotel rooms, they had their fun and abandoned me there, what if something had happened to me. 

Queen, it's okay babe I understand…… 

Me you don't understand anything and please don't tell me it's okay, except you want to leave me alone  right now. 

Queen::  please do not transfer that on me babe, do you know I was even trying to make them realize what they did was wrong but Greg started insulting me?  

 Me ;; what? 

Queen::  am serious babe, he was telling me how you gonna dumb me as you always do to the other girls when your done getting what you wanted. 

Me:: anyways, 8 have nothing to say about that. 

Queen:: what? Wait babe, don't tell me what Greg said is true, is it? 

Johnny::  queen if I tell you it is true what are you gonna do about it, let me even tell you something, do you even love me!? 

Queen:: of course I love you so much babe 

Johnny::  hahaha, you just sounded like an actor right now and of course your one, your just acting. Do you think I am that naive? I saw how your expression changed yesterday when you and your friend saw my car. Out of a sudden you started calling me babe, let me be clear with you on something here, get what you want from me and I get what I want from you, afterall your very good in s*x, so give me the s*x while you have the money. 

And let me make this very clear to you, never try to cause a scene on this campus if you see me with another girl, you might just regret knowing Johnny Williams. Is that clear? 

Queen :: opening my mouth in surprise, how did he find out about this, this guy isn't just rich but very smart too, I must be careful, as I was still doing this thinking he shouted again. 

Johnny;;  Queen am talking to you, is that that clear? (I shouted this time louder) 

Queen:: I reluctantly accepted,  yes babe it's clear. 

Johnny ::good. 

As I was still chatting with queen, I saw my three so-called friends walking in  from the door and coming towards us. I immediately took my laptop and left the class.  Greg tried to stop me but with the looks on my face, he knew if he dared he would receive a blow. So he just allowed me to  pass. 

Greg:: guys our guy is really bad at us oh what do we do? 

Fred::  Queen what did you say to Johnny? 

Queen:: nothing, I said that to them and just sigh and went out to meet my man. 

Clark ;;  guys we have  to fix this as soon as possible, imagine what we stand to lose if we stop being friends with johnny, he will definitely get other guys as friends, we can't let  that happen oh. 

Greg::you're very right Clark, you know what, let's just let him be for today, I could see he is still very much angry with us, by tomorrow he will be calm then we can go apologize, you know how we roll na, we can always tell him about this new hot chick on campus, you know how he reacts when he hears things like  this.
