93: Drunken Girlhood

Daciana giggle and bottle towards the bathroom. I don’t know how we manage to make it without either of us breaking a leg of falling face flat, but we managed.

She goes in first and washes her face while I did my business. She was still standing in front of the mirror when I stepped out. She was touching her cheeks, and then doing it all over again.

“What are you doing?” I slurred the words out.

By some miracle, she actually understands what I’m saying and nods toward the glass.

“Look, I’m doing the and she is doing out too.” That finished with a fit of giggles.

“Are you sure you washed your face?” I asked her, trying to hold back my laughter.

“Yep. The water was so cold and so good.” She drags the words out in a singsong voice.

“Yeah, it did not work.” I said and proceeded to wash my face. I was aware I was ruining my makeup but I just didn’t care.

If I go out looking like a clown with bad makeup, the other ladies will just laugh it off. Almost everyone here is wasted.
