Chapter 76
It has been three months since day I started watching Chloe, and I have learned to balance my Luna responsibilities, watching her, and taking care of myself. Chloe has been an absolute gem of a child. She is noticing, more than I am, that my belly is getting noticeably bigger. It is about to become necessary to go shopping for some maternity clothes. Chloe and I were looking online at some maternity clothes, when someone knocked on my suite door. I thought it was weird, because someone usually mind links me to let me know I'm about to have a visitor.
Then I heard a mind link, "Luna, do not open your door. Hide until Alpha gets up there." I whispered to Chloe, "Let's go in my closet." I was so surprised that she didn't start asking questions as we went in my closet and hid behind a dresser that was in there. I went the extra mile and threw a blanket over us. Then I heard a loud growl and a fight taking place. Chloe mind linked me.
