As we drove away, I got a mind link from Seth:

S: Hey, didn't get a chance to say goodbye. I'm on patrol.

M: Meet us in on the way out.

S: Ok. I'll be at the entrance.

Then I asked Conri to stop at the entrance to the pack grounds, so I can say goodbye to Seth. He stopped at the entrance and Seth came out in a pair of shorts. I got out and hugged him. I said, "I was so wrapped up in the attack and finding my mate, I didn't ask; Did you find your mate yet?" He said, "Not yet, but the ball is coming up soon, so maybe I will find her then." I said, "I hope you do. I'm going to miss you." Seth smiled and said, "I'll miss you too. You better get going. We have some patrols who are going to be following you out of pack territory. I don't trust Cam not to attack the vehicles and cause an accident." I said, "Thanks."
