Ashina's Quest: Chapter 18

Conri and I walked into the castle, and I was still furious. Conri said, "Why don't we eat dinner, then we can take mom and dad into dad's conference room and call your dad from there." I stopped and put my hand on Conri's cheek. I said, "If there is one thing you need to know about me, it's this; when I get this mad, I can't eat. I need to punch or kick something or someone. You go ahead and eat. I'm going to work out some aggression, so that I don't take it out on someone who doesn't deserve it." He smiled and said, "Damn, my badass mate and her ways. Will I ever get used to them? Probably not, but I will have fun trying." I laughed, "I'm going to change and go to the gym. I will let you know when I'm done." He kissed me gently and said, "I would love to eat you; I mean with you this evening. Try to make it quick?" My thighs clench tight at his purposeful slip-up and I said, "I will try. You don't want me staying this angry; I promise." He said, "Okay. I will let you work it out."
