I gasped, “What kind of mother does that?” My mom wrapped her arms around me, “A mother who doesn’t deserve you. That’s for sure.” I hugged my mom and walked to Elliot, “I’m so glad Abel noticed that. I could’ve gotten you killed.” Then I looked at everyone, “I want this bitch dead! She deserves no less.” Everyone agreed and we continued walking. We got to the rock formation, and Abel smelled it, “Still enchanted.” I asked Abel, “Is there anything else that is enchanted that we didn’t notice before?” Abel started sniffing the air and found that the waterfall was also enchanted. The spell was lifted, and we all started to walk back.
As we walked back, Abel was finding enchanted things everywhere! I was about to lose my mind when mom finally got pissed. She asked Queen Carina and Selene, “Do you have her magic concealed? I want Dahlia here.” They both said they do and mom yelled, “Dahlia, get your fucking ass here now!” Dahlia appeared in front of us, mad as hell, “What the fu

Everyone looked at me with skepticism as I continued, “Why can’t I use her past against her? I would use it to weaken her, so that she can be captured or killed.” Elliot pulled me close, “I would prefer she were killed.” Everyone else nodded, “Same here.” I added, “But I will need my siblings’ help.” That’s when everyone’s faces went from agreement to some kind of combination of anger, intrigue and an absolute “hell no”. I continued, “She wants me there. She thinks she can torture me into telling her where my magic is. I have a feeling she will actually try to torture my siblings to get me to tell her. Mom, I need a protection and numbing spell put on each of them. It wouldn’t hurt for you to do it for me too. I would also like to take a few fairies with me, shrunk to fly size, of course.” Queen Eden sighed, “If you do this, I want some angels going with you too. And you know King Izzoth will want a couple demons to go too.” I asked, “Can they shrink to the same size as the
I smiled, “I thought you’d never ask. Would you mind if a couple demons shrank down really tiny and came with me?” King Izzoth smiled, “You read my mind. I will send four with you.” Then Queen Eden smiled, “And I will match his with my angels. You can’t have all bad influences.” Everyone at the table laughed, including King Izzoth. Then Blitz, leader of the werehawks, added, “I will have several of my guys watching over you all as well.” Then, I asked Queen Carina, “Do you think I could have a couple Fairies come with me too?” She smiled, “I was going to suggest four of them.” Elliot smiled, “This is why I love being a part of this alliance. It helps me a lot to know that my mate will not be alone in that castle.” After the arrangements were made, I told everyone that I plan on doing this in two days. I want to give everyone the proper time to prepare, and I want to make sure my mom has put the spells on my siblings, my mate and me. I don’t want to go until I know that is do
I look around the room and I hear one of the fairies, “Everyone made it. Let’s get to work. ”I see my siblings with their mouths hanging open. I ask the brother that is hurt, “Are you in any pain?” He just shook his head, “No, what does it matter to you? I’m a stranger to you.” I chuckle to myself and tell him, “I tend to care about everyone.” Then my sister asked, “What is your name?” I smiled, “I’m Elisabeth, but just call me Elisa. What are all your names?” Just then, the door burst open and Dahlia came running into the room, “So, you finally fell for my trap! You didn’t have any werebears to help you locate them this time?” I replied, “No, I was needing some time alone. The enchantment had been removed from that Willow tree, but apparently you put the spell back on.” She nodded, “I did. I had a feeling either that tree or the blackberry bushes would get you.” I smiled, “Oh, I won’t be needing those blackberries for a while. My mom made sure of that.” Dahlia’s face turned
When I opened my eyes, all of my siblings were looking at me. Taylor shook her head, “You really are a sucker for punishment.” I shrugged, “I’m pretty headstrong. Ask my mom. I gave her a hard time a lot.” Blaise laughed, “Must run in the family.” I laughed. I looked out the window, and the sun was shining into the room, “Was I out all night?” They all nodded as they smiled at me. Max chuckled, “I think she knocked you out because you woke her up. That vent behind you carries noise from in here, straight to her room.” I went wide-eyed, “Shit! I wonder if she heard my mom?” Then one of the fairies spoke in my ear, “She didn’t hear any of that. She’s still totally unaware that we are here.” I breathed a sigh of relief, “We’re all good.” “Can any of you look out that window,” I asked. Taylor stood and stared out the window for a few minutes then turned to me with a tear in her eyes, “I just saw my parents playing frisbee with me. I totally forgot they used to do that.” I smiled
Elliot’s POV I’m going fucking crazy. I am surrounded by my parents and my siblings, but the only person I want with me is not here. I can’t help but wonder what is going on with her. I have already felt the pain of being bitch slapped, so I know that has started. That’s when I called my dad. I knew Dahlia was hurting her, and I needed him here to keep me from going batshit crazy and storming to the castle. That would put her in more jeopardy, and I want her plan to succeed. I have to stay calm and think clearly. My dad is really good at keeping me calm. I was pacing the house and trying to decide what to do next when dad stopped me, “Son, you need to calm down. You’re not helping her by going all apeshit.” I sighed, “Dad, I’ve already felt things happening to her. I
Elisa POV When Dahlia took me out of the room, I knew I was in for it. I just keep hoping that the numbing spell is still working. When we got to the basement, I could see the effects of what the Fae Earth Court had done so far. We need to get out of here soon. The foundation of this castle is cracking, and this room will probably flood if she gets one good hard rain. I’m ready to get this over with. As I look around, Dahlia laughs, “Is it the stereotypical torture room?” I shrugged, “Yeah, but it sure seems like my mom has more devices. Maybe I’m wrong.” Dahlia frowned, “A lot of mine are just in the cabinets. I am starting small with you. You’ve been pampered your whole life. I’m sure you don’t have a very high pain tolerance.” I laughed, “How wo
As Dahlia storms into the room, she screams, “How the hell have you been talking to people?” I laugh, “Nobody has been here. I talk to people in my sleep. Why?” She looks out the window and stops in her tracks. She is captivated by whatever memory she is seeing now. I look at all my siblings, and they are slightly smiling at me, knowing what the window is doing. I sit in my spot, on the floor, and wait as she continues looking out that window. Taylor, who is seated on the floor right next to the window, is watching Dahlia intently. Taylor looks at me, holds a finger to her eye and traces a line down her cheek to tell me that she is crying. I nod in understanding. Apparently, our demon friends are telling the rest of our friends to ease up on the noise, because Dahlia’s magic is growing weaker with every thirty seconds, she looks out that window. Whatever she is seeing now is taking a really long time too. I hope it holds her attention for a while. I would love for her
I cringed as I waited for Elliot’s answer, and I heard him chuckle, “Baby, you are still so beautiful. You will never be ugly to me.” I smile as I wrap my arms around him, “I didn’t think you would leave me for this, but I just needed to be sure. I can’t be without you now. Never again.” He smiled at me, “You will never be without me. I love you too much to be without you. I will show you that tonight, but right now, we have the alliance and your siblings waiting for us downstairs. We need to get you cleaned up, and the doctor is here. He’s examining your siblings right now. You will be next.” I sighed, “Okay. I can wait for tonight.” He smiled, “Oh yeah, mom, Luna Abby and Princess Ashina are cooking for everyone right now.” My stomach started rumbling and I realized, I hadn’t eaten anything since I left the house! I sighed, “It just dawned on me that she never gave me anything to eat. I wonder how long it’s been since my siblings ate?” This gave both of us a new sense of u
