Elliot’s POV
I’m going fucking crazy. I am surrounded by my parents and my siblings, but the only person I want with me is not here. I can’t help but wonder what is going on with her. I have already felt the pain of being bitch slapped, so I know that has started. That’s when I called my dad. I knew Dahlia was hurting her, and I needed him here to keep me from going batshit crazy and storming to the castle. That would put her in more jeopardy, and I want her plan to succeed. I have to stay calm and think clearly. My dad is really good at keeping me calm.

As Dahlia storms into the room, she screams, “How the hell have you been talking to people?” I laugh, “Nobody has been here. I talk to people in my sleep. Why?” She looks out the window and stops in her tracks. She is captivated by whatever memory she is seeing now. I look at all my siblings, and they are slightly smiling at me, knowing what the window is doing. I sit in my spot, on the floor, and wait as she continues looking out that window. Taylor, who is seated on the floor right next to the window, is watching Dahlia intently. Taylor looks at me, holds a finger to her eye and traces a line down her cheek to tell me that she is crying. After spending most of the night tangled up in every position imaginable with my mouth-watering mate, I finally fell asleep in my favorite place in the world… his arms. The ride to Taylor’s parents’ house was quiet and tense. We were all slightly terrified of telling them the truth, but it needed to be done if they were going to accept Taylor for who, and what, she is.
