I look around the room and I hear one of the fairies, “Everyone made it. Let’s get to work. ”I see my siblings with their mouths hanging open. I ask the brother that is hurt, “Are you in any pain?” He just shook his head, “No, what does it matter to you? I’m a stranger to you.” I chuckle to myself and tell him, “I tend to care about everyone.” Then my sister asked, “What is your name?” I smiled, “I’m Elisabeth, but just call me Elisa. What are all your names?”

Just then, the door burst open and Dahlia came running into the room, “So, you finally fell for my trap! You didn’t have any werebears to help you locate them this time?” I replied, “No, I was needing some time alone. The enchantment had been removed from that Willow tree, but apparently you put the spell back on.” She nodded, “I did. I had a feeling either that tree or the blackberry bushes would get you.” I smiled, “Oh, I won’t be needing those blackberries for a while. My mom made sure of that.” Dahlia’s face turned

When I opened my eyes, all of my siblings were looking at me. Taylor shook her head, “You really are a sucker for punishment.” I shrugged, “I’m pretty headstrong. Ask my mom. I gave her a hard time a lot.” Blaise laughed, “Must run in the family.” I laughed. I looked out the window, and the sun was shining into the room, “Was I out all night?” They all nodded as they smiled at me. Max chuckled, “I think she knocked you out because you woke her up. That vent behind you carries noise from in here, straight to her room.” I went wide-eyed, “Shit! I wonder if she heard my mom?” Then one of the fairies spoke in my ear, “She didn’t hear any of that. She’s still totally unaware that we are here.” I breathed a sigh of relief, “We’re all good.” “Can any of you look out that window,” I asked. Taylor stood and stared out the window for a few minutes then turned to me with a tear in her eyes, “I just saw my parents playing frisbee with me. I totally forgot they used to do that.” I smiled

Elliot’s POV I’m going fucking crazy. I am surrounded by my parents and my siblings, but the only person I want with me is not here. I can’t help but wonder what is going on with her. I have already felt the pain of being bitch slapped, so I know that has started. That’s when I called my dad. I knew Dahlia was hurting her, and I needed him here to keep me from going batshit crazy and storming to the castle. That would put her in more jeopardy, and I want her plan to succeed. I have to stay calm and think clearly. My dad is really good at keeping me calm. I was pacing the house and trying to decide what to do next when dad stopped me, “Son, you need to calm down. You’re not helping her by going all apeshit.” I sighed, “Dad, I’ve already felt things happening to her. I

Elisa POV When Dahlia took me out of the room, I knew I was in for it. I just keep hoping that the numbing spell is still working. When we got to the basement, I could see the effects of what the Fae Earth Court had done so far. We need to get out of here soon. The foundation of this castle is cracking, and this room will probably flood if she gets one good hard rain. I’m ready to get this over with. As I look around, Dahlia laughs, “Is it the stereotypical torture room?” I shrugged, “Yeah, but it sure seems like my mom has more devices. Maybe I’m wrong.” Dahlia frowned, “A lot of mine are just in the cabinets. I am starting small with you. You’ve been pampered your whole life. I’m sure you don’t have a very high pain tolerance.” I laughed, “How wo

As Dahlia storms into the room, she screams, “How the hell have you been talking to people?” I laugh, “Nobody has been here. I talk to people in my sleep. Why?” She looks out the window and stops in her tracks. She is captivated by whatever memory she is seeing now. I look at all my siblings, and they are slightly smiling at me, knowing what the window is doing. I sit in my spot, on the floor, and wait as she continues looking out that window. Taylor, who is seated on the floor right next to the window, is watching Dahlia intently. Taylor looks at me, holds a finger to her eye and traces a line down her cheek to tell me that she is crying. I nod in understanding. Apparently, our demon friends are telling the rest of our friends to ease up on the noise, because Dahlia’s magic is growing weaker with every thirty seconds, she looks out that window. Whatever she is seeing now is taking a really long time too. I hope it holds her attention for a while. I would love for her

I cringed as I waited for Elliot’s answer, and I heard him chuckle, “Baby, you are still so beautiful. You will never be ugly to me.” I smile as I wrap my arms around him, “I didn’t think you would leave me for this, but I just needed to be sure. I can’t be without you now. Never again.” He smiled at me, “You will never be without me. I love you too much to be without you. I will show you that tonight, but right now, we have the alliance and your siblings waiting for us downstairs. We need to get you cleaned up, and the doctor is here. He’s examining your siblings right now. You will be next.” I sighed, “Okay. I can wait for tonight.” He smiled, “Oh yeah, mom, Luna Abby and Princess Ashina are cooking for everyone right now.” My stomach started rumbling and I realized, I hadn’t eaten anything since I left the house! I sighed, “It just dawned on me that she never gave me anything to eat. I wonder how long it’s been since my siblings ate?” This gave both of us a new sense of u

I laughed… hard! I mean full on belly laugh! Elliot looked at me like I was crazy and Linden just looked at me and shook his head, slightly chuckling. I finally caught my breath and explained to Elliot, “You don’t understand. Linden is my quiet, reserved brother who never gets loud about anything.” Then I turned to Linden and laughed, “Out of everything we’ve gone through, this is what got a reaction from you?” He laughed as he rolled his eyes, “Uh, yeah. I mean, like, that’s the friggin’ Moon Goddess!” Selene laughed at that one as Linden blushed, “No disrespect intended, but wow. Just. Wow.” I laughed even harder and so did Selene as she waved him off, “No disrespect taken. You’re good.” I put my hand on his shoulder, “Now you know why I told Dahlia that she would never be able to get to it, even if I did tell her where it is. Now, Let’s get back to the meeting.” Linden nodded as we walked back into the conference room. I stand in front and tell everyone in the room, “You

After spending most of the night tangled up in every position imaginable with my mouth-watering mate, I finally fell asleep in my favorite place in the world… his arms. I was sleeping so well, in fact, that I didn’t even hear my siblings knocking on our bedroom door, begging for breakfast. Elliot woke me up with a feather-light kiss, “Wake up my beautiful mate. The pups need to be fed.” I laughed at him, “Ugh! What did I sign myself up for?” He chuckled, “A lifetime of servitude that you wouldn’t miss for the world.” I playfully slapped him on the chest, “I hate it when you’re right.” He laughed as I got out of bed. I put on my robe and opened the door slightly, “How may I help you?” They all looked at me like I grew another head. I laughed at them, “I’ll be down in a minute to fix breakfast. Biscuits and sausage gravy okay for today? Or would you rather have waffles?” I got a mix of answers and so I replied, “Okay, we have a tie. Elliot gets to choose.” Elliot yells, “BOTH!

Wow. That’s the first thing I thought when he said that. I just put my arm around Max while my mom proceeded to let this man in front of us know that he is no better than Dahlia for treating him this way. She added, “To be honest, what you are doing is worse. At least she wanted him… even if it was only for his magic. You want nothing to do with him.” I told Max, “Well, at least you know you have a place to go. You can live with us.” He nodded as a tear fell from his eyes, “I’m happy I have my big sister. It just doesn’t make what he said hurt less.” I sympathized, “I know, but it will get easier. I promise. Let me take care of all the paperwork.” I approached his father and asked, “Since you no longer want him, would you mind signing over your parental rights to me and signing a custody agreement? There will be nothing required of you except your signature.” He replied, “That’s fine.” I asked if we could get his things, and he agreed. Max led me to his room, and I smiled, “

Twenty Years Later I’m sitting in my favorite spot with my mate sitting behind me in my favorite lounge chair. We are both drinking our morning coffee as two mountain lions walked up to the deck. They both bowed to us, and I smiled, “Good morning, Dusty. Good morning, Lilly.” Dusty found his mate in his own pack on his sixteenth birthday. We had a party for him that night and he introduced her to all of us. She is such a sweet girl I really couldn’t wish for anything better for him. Robert and Katie are so proud of them. They had four children and they only have two still at home. I am so proud of the parents they are. The two children that have already found their mates and left are absolutely awesome. Linden found his mate and decided to build another house close to our land. His mate understands that he needs to be close to family and his siblings are all he has left. His father passed away when my triplets were only two years old. It was an extremely hard time for him. We made s

Robert and Katie laughed and shook their heads as Robert smiled, “Now that would make me rethink my choice to be a parent.” I laughed, “I think she did.” Just then, Calista ran out onto the deck, “Good morning, mom.” She sat in my lap and hugged me tightly. I turned her around and introduced her to them. She smiled, “It’s very nice to meet my Uncle Dusty’s parents. I love him so much!” Katie smiled, “I’m so glad you love him, Calista.” I asked Calista, “Is anyone else up?” She smiled, “Dad is up with Raze and Eva.” I laughed, “Is Willow awake yet?” She shook her head, “She was sleeping peacefully when I came out.” I smiled, “Thank you. I guess you would like some breakfast, huh?” She smiled and shook her head shyly. I smiled, “Okay.” Then I turned to Robert and Katie, “Would you like to join us?” They agreed and followed me and Calista into the house. I cooked a big breakfast and had it all laid on the table. As soon as it was all prepared, it sounded like a herd of horses coming down

When Taylor was done feeding the boys, Evan and I took the boys in the living room to visit with everyone else. Uncle Dax was the first to hold out his arms. Evan smiled as he held out the first baby boy, “You are now holding Cain, and the boy mom is holding is Dylan.” After Doctor Harper was done with Taylor, I walked with her to another guest room in the house and smiled, “I remember how all I wanted after all that was to take a shower. Is that what you would like?” She replied, “Definitely.” I smiled, “You go ahead and take a shower. That shower has a bench in it so you can sit. I would highly recommend using it. I will get you some clothes.” I opened the closet door and found a perfect pair of soft sweatpants and a t-shirt that looked lusciously oversized. I grabbed a pair of underwear and a bra and put them on the bed. When Taylor walked out of the bathroom in a towel, I asked, “Feeling better?” She smiled, “That did feel better.” I got you a comfy pair of sweats and an oversized

Seven months later… Taylor and Evan are staying in the guest house with dad and Linden. Taylor wants me to be there for her when she gives birth. She’s afraid Evan is going to pass out. Evan agrees with her, but he still wants to be there for her and to see his babies being born. He swears we will try his hardest to stay conscious. We all laugh and Elliot smiles, “I don’t blame you, dude. I almost passed out a few times.” We were all eating breakfast one morning when Taylor gasped, “Oh dear. I’m pretty sure I’m in labor.” I smiled, “Evan, you need to be keeping track of how far apart the contractions are. Let us know when they are around five minutes apart. Taylor, you need to tell him when each contraction starts and ends. Okay?” She nodded in reply and I called Doctor Harper. Doctor Harper said she would start driving here now, so we will be ready. Wow. The whole family showed up! Within 2 hours, Elliot and I were sitting in the living room with dad, my mom, Evan’s parents, Aidint

I laughed, “I understand completely.” Calista smiled, “I can sing for you, Uncle Dusty.” He looked at me and I nodded, “Trust me… You want to hear this.” Dusty nodded, “I would love to hear you sing.” Calista started singing the most beautiful and relaxing song I have ever heard and Dusty looks so relaxed and happy. When the song ends, Dusty chuckles, “Calista, you are awesome!” She smiles proudly, “I’m a mermaid/wolf hybrid and an omega. My mom and dad rescued me from my old alpha. He kept me in a tiny room under the stairs in his packhouse. He was planning on marking and mating me. They rescued me just in time.” Dusty asked, “What happened to your family?” She looked down at her hands in her lap, “My old alpha killed my parents and my brother. My parents hid me, but I saw him rip my brother’s head off. But I have mom and dad now and I have the best family ever. I have LOTS of uncles and grandparents and now I have a brother and SISTERS! I really am a lucky girl.” Dusty pulled her clo

One week later… Mom spent the night with us last night because mommy, daddy and sister all needed to get a full night of sleep. We were all starting to get quite cranky. I don’t think I was ever more thankful for my mom when she offered to stay overnight. After feeding the babies at eight pm, I went straight to bed. I think Calista went to bed before I did and Elliot was waiting for me in bed when I got there. We all slept like rocks and I didn’t wake up the entire night. It was my best night’s sleep since the night before I gave birth to all of them. Don’t get me wrong, I love all three of my newborns. But they are definitely little sleep robbers! Ladies, let me give you a bit of advice. When other women tell you to sleep when they sleep, LISTEN! Trust me, it makes perfect sense. If the things you need to do can wait, do it. They have been wearing us all out. Raze has an insatiable appetite. We were at the grocery store yesterday, and a little older lady heard Raze’s hungry screams.

I held her close to me, “I don’t care how many little girls we give birth to; you will always be our baby girl. You just won’t be the only one anymore. Okay?” She smiled as she snuggled closer to me, “I like that idea.” I smiled, “Me too.” Then I asked her, “What do you think of being a big sister now that you’ve seen your new brother and sisters?” She giggled, “I am going to have so much fun. Especially with Eva! She’s like me!” I started yawning and Elliot sighed, “Are you ready to get some sleep, love?” I shrugged, “Yeah, I better sleep while I can. Doctor Harper left some formula on the counter with the bottles. There are plenty of diapers in the nursery next to our room. Would you please turn on the baby monitor before you come to bed?” Elliot smiled, “We have plenty of help, love.” I reminded him, “Doctor Harper told me to alternate between formula and breast milk. Next feeding, you all can feed them, but please wake me to feed them when they wake to eat after that.” Mom nodded,

I suddenly felt fear wash over me and I was almost paralyzed. What if I’m a horrible mom? I mean I would never do what Dahlia did to me, but what if I don’t develop that mother-child bond? I’m scared to death but then Elliot leans to comfort me and says in low voice into my ear, “You’re going to be fine, love. You are nothing but kind and nurturing. You’ve worked wonders with Calista. You have nothing to fear, baby. You also have tons of help at your fingertips.” I smiled as he kissed my forehead, “You always know exactly what I need to hear. I love you so much.” With that, I felt my stomach get tight and I lifted my torso to bear down, pushing to help our first baby through the birth canal. Doctor Harper encouraged, “That was a really good one, Elisa. Need another push.” Another contraction hit and I started pushing again. I was pushing and felt a sudden reduction in pressure. Doctor Harper smiled, “Here is your prince!” Our little boy started wailing as his father cut the cord, “He’

I sat in the living room with my feet up with dad, Elliot, Evan, Linden and Max. I was trying to relax, but my back started hurting. The ache started moving around to my belly and I could feel my belly squeezing tightly. It wasn’t so painful that it was alarming, it just really caught my attention. I raised my shirt to expose my belly as another contraction hit. As my belly contracted, I tapped Elliot to get his attention. As we both looked down at my belly, Elliot gasped as the babies were clearly visible as my belly squeezed around them. He asked, “That looks like it hurts so bad, and you are just sitting there looking at it. You are tougher than I am.” I laughed, “My back hurts worse than my belly.” Doctor Harper walked in, “Don’t get used to it. It won’t stay this way.” I looked up at her, smiling, “It will all be worth it. I can’t wait to meet them.” Doctor Harper smiled, “You are going to be such a great mother.” I asked, “Do you think a numbing spell would be a good idea?” She
