Two years after..

Have you ever reached at point in your life when you thought enough is enough? It has reached to the brim and you just can't manage anymore, you hoping and searching for a get away door.

That's how Shay Valentine is feeling right now, its been two years since she lost her parents. Her uncle isn't a good guardian, even though she is an adult now she still have to live under his roof actually her father's roof that he now controlls.

He have been abusive to her, physically, mentally and close to sexually. She tried to get away from him but she didn't have any money, she been through several jobs but her uncle contact the managers and would lie about her being a thief or she's mentally ill. She asked him to send her back to college and he didn't, he told her he didn't have to waist money sending her back to college when she can be a maid in the house.

She snapped at him once saying she won't be a maid in her father's house and he dragged her to the basement and whip her with electric cards. Then he would want to have sex with his own niece but never got successful, she was terrified, livid and hurt.

"Shay are you walking me to school today?" Skai asked her older sister.

"Sure I can do that" she said smiling at her.

"Ok I'll wait downstairs" she said happily and skip out the door.

She was surprised her uncle let Skai continued going to school but he send her to a public school which she got bullied by some older kids. Shay wanted to get some money so she can ran away with her sister but her uncle wouldn't let that happened.

She made her bed and head to the bathroom for a quick shower, she brushed her hair in a messy bun and apply a little make up. She didn't have much clothes because her evil aunty Sally took away her best clothes. She simple put on a black ripped jeans, a white t-shirts and black vans.

She head downstairs to meet up Skai to walked her to school but she met up and her evil aunt. Sally was just like her husband, she'll treat the kids like slaves and If they refuse she'll tell Louise and he'll punished Shay for it.

"Good morning aunt Sally" Shay greet forcing a smile.

"What's good about the morning?" She snapped " I'm late for my salon appointment so hurry and drive me there " she added bossy.

" aunt I promise to walked Skai to---

" Are you telling me your not driving me there? " she asked giving her a dirty look.

Shay wanted to tell her that exactly what she's saying but she hold back, she knew she'll report her to her uncle and she knew he'll punished her.

"No aunt Sally" she replied

"Good now meet me in the car" she said walking out the door.

"Skai I'm so sorry" she said looking on her sis sad face.

"It's OK Shay, you don't have a choice, I'll see you later" she said hugging her sis.

Shay eyes tears up when she saw how sad her sister was and she had to walk all the way to school. Her uncle didn't gave her money to go to school, she'll walk the whole fifteen minutes to go and come from school. He let her bring lunch so she was unable the buy lunch like the other kids and was thirteen years old.

Shay drove her aunt to the salon and glad she told her she could come back to pick her up around three. She didn't went straight home instead she went to a small cozy café in town. A good friend of her mom's work there so she'll buy her pineapple muffins with chocolate smoothie each time she visit.

"Hi Miriam" she greets as she walked up to the cash register.

"Shay how are you?" She said happily.

"I'm good" she said a bit weak.

Miriam knew about her situation but not that her uncle always trying to have sex with her. She was ashamed to tell anyone and she thought no one will believe her or put him in jail since she's twenty one years old.

" I bet a chocolate smoothie and pineapple muffins will make you feel better " Miriam beamed.

"Miriam you don't have to buy me those each time I visit" shay said resisting.

"Says who? Now go have a seat I'll be with you in a minute" she said shooing her off.

Shay smile walking to a seat in the corner, she knew she can't resist Miriam offer. Miriam once asked for a job at the cafe for Shay but her uncle threatened the owner that if he employed her he'll make sure his business shut down immediately. He has power now, he controlled everything Shay dad's had and now he's the millionaire so he can do what ever.

"Here you go.... I'm sorry I can't sit on chat, I have alot on my hands" Miriam said pointing to the line of people waiting to order.

"Thank you" Shay said thankfully

Shay sip on her smoothie and decided to carry the muffins for Skai. She checked her phone frequently on the time she didn't want to be late to pick Sally up even though it's 11:43am in the morning.

She was enjoying her smoothie still checking the time but she heard a voice behind her and she got distracted listening to the persons conversation.

She peek over and checked out the person, they were two man seated behind. The one on the left was blonde with ton skin color with blue eyes, he was wearing a black jacket suit. The one on the right was cream color with straight black hair, his eyes were brown and his lips were cute. He was also dressed in a black jacked suit and looked like he was Japanese or Korean. Shay thought to herself why two rich man would be doing In such small café.

"I'm looking for a nanny to take care of sun hi, I'm not home all the time to watch her and she has been sneaking out" the black hair looking one said.

"I can look around for you" the blonde hair one said.

"I need one ASAP, last thing I want is to go home and she's missing... I need someone to watch over her while I'm at work" he said frustrated.

Shay was slowly sipping on her smoothie listen to their conversation. Who's sun hi? She asked inwardly but how would she know. Then am idea pop into her head, then she thought of walking over and told him she was interested in being the nanny.

She wanted to go over so badly but she knew if her uncle found out he'll sabotage her so she sit back In her seat and sigh heavily.

"So what bring you to this part of town?" The voice sounded like the blonde one.

Shay jumped back up peeking over, he's not from this side of town? She mumbled with a small smile.

"Have a deal to close off so I have to drive all this way and then I ran In to you" the black hair one said.

Shay got back in her thoughts, if he's not from this side of town then she can definitely take the job. She heard the talking stop and she peek up seeing them exiting the cafe.

She grabbed her muffin and told Miriam bye and rushed outside, she saw the blonde one drive off so she looked around for the other one. He was on his phone entering his car when she quickly walked up to him.

"Excuse me sir" she said politely

"I'll call you right back" he said and hang up the phone.

Shay got lost in his beautiful brown eyes, they were shinny and beautiful.

He clear his throat snapping her out of her thoughts. " May I help you?" he said seriously.

"I over heard your conversation about looking for a nanny" he shook his head

"I'm interested" she continued.

"Ok meet for an interview at this address 8:30am Sharp" he said handing her a card.

She gladly took it and mumbled a thank you. She stare at the address, she smile knowing it across town so her uncle will never find out.

But what about Skai, she can't just leave her little sister with those people.... She thought
