I feel like I froze even more when Emman came back again. He quickly held my hand as he went beside me. I tried my best to stay firm in front of Sean while his son is also in front of him.

“Emman!” Charlotte exclaimed. I even heard her panting. It seems like my son became stubborn again and was able to escape from her. I felt like I was holding my breath. I couldn't breathe properly while I'm trying not to break. I felt how Knox held my hand tightly. If he is not here right now, I would totally be feeble. Good thing he's here to catch me again before I could even fall.

“Come on, Emman. Let's go there,” Charlotte uttered to my son. I saw how Sean's eyes landed on Emman. His eyes became soft as if he was captivated by how adorable my son is. I held Knox' hand tighter while my heart was racing aloud.

“No, Aunt! I want my Mom and Dad!” He exclaimed and pouted cutely. Beyond being weak that my knees would probably fold anytime, I still lowered down for Emman and cup
