[At Night]

Aiden and I found ourselves at the comfort of our garden. I was on the patio, a glass of wine beside me, when he approached me.

“It's cold out,” he whispered softly in my ears, sending a tingling sensation in my skin.

My lips curved into a smile as I turned around to circle my hands around his neck. His gaze is warm, his eyes filled with a tenderness that makes my heart flutter. He leans in, his lips brushing against mine in a soft, lingering kiss. It's a kiss that speaks of longing, of a deep connection that runs between us.

I never thought I needed this.

The time I spent alone in the forest, trying to find my destiny as a moon wolf. I have encountered a lot of things.

Things I wished I hadn't done, but glad I did.

It felt hellish to be far from him.

"Migumi," he whispers against my lips, his voice husky with desire. "I've missed you."

I smile, my fingers tracing the lines of his jaw. "I missed you too, Aiden."
