Alpha Jax
Later that evening.
“You seem distracted sir, what is on your mind?” My beta Paul asked and I nodded no. I had my eyes on the lookout for the girl that had a lot to say, she dumped the trash on me, it felt hot and funny. I was attracted to just how crazy she was, she was just different. I need to see her, I need to know who she is and what she does.
My attention span got short when i saw the pack walk in
"Alpha Jax, it's an honor." The Chief said and everyone bowed, I paid attention to how everyone acted, they were respectful as they should, Except her. I glared at her and we shared eye contact"Is he the Alpha?" she asked the chief who had his head bowed. "Bow, you girl." He whispered as he pulled her trousers. Our eyes met again. "What?" She muttered with a sass as she looked at me.
"He is the Alpha, show your respect to the devil's Alpha or you will be on toilet duty for as long as I am alive. Don’t dare me” He threatened and I smiled, she was about to bow when i spoke, i did it intentionally just so she would be in my presence. .
"Oh, it's alright. Can we have dinner now?" I asked and they all lifted their heads, it was some sort of mind control and I loved how synchronized they were "What's her name?" I asked and pointed to her. “Ivy! That’s her name." The shock that she had was worth it. Her chief didn’t wait to say her name and I got what I needed. It was obvious that she was a rebel. Her face changed. I don't think she was used to things like this.
“I want her to serve me.” I growled as I spoke, I demanded for her specifically. “Can….can we? Can we have someone serve you?” Not only did he not expect that, she had her jaw dropped. I will get her back for what she said and what she did. “Did I stutter?” I asked and she scoffed. The look she had on her face was priceless.
“Ok, she will. The dinner will be set and we can start the welcome party.” Everyone clapped and I saw her face, she had anger in it. “Okay.” The chief replied in a low tone. She didn’t clapp or be as submissive. And that was a game that I would love to play with her.
“Shall we move to the next room?” The chief asked as he pointed to the next room, she had turned away and left before the chief told her too. She reminded me of someone just like her. I followed while their pack led the way. I could see how he tried to keep her at her best behavior but it didn't do anything.
We entered the dining room, they did so much. The colors and the ambience, they had dancers on stand up, I was sure I would be comfortable and pleased.
"First, we the No pack, Welcomes you. Alpha Jax to our midst. We are honored that you are here with us." The chief introduced me as we walked on, he was explaining different things, I wasn't paying attention to him, he went on and on. My eyes were on her.
"Can we eat now?" I interrupted him, I needed to speak to her and talk to her.
"Of course. Let's sit." The chief said and I saw down, alongside my beta.
"Ivy, bring his meal." The chief said and he walked out with all his trainees. I hated how they were all here. I just needed to be here and to see her. My interest in her peaked.
"Here is your meal." She placed the meal at the table and I smiled at her.
"You know, I am not in a hurry to chase you, you make it worth it and I enjoy this." I whispered as she dished the meal.
"Weirdo!" She said and moved backwards. "I don't like this meal, please prepare a new one." I said to her, loud and clear. I made sure she heard me. "Is there a problem?" The chief dashed in as though his life was on the line.
"I want her to prepare me a new meal, I want a meal made by her. I don't like this." I shoved the meal away, my beta enjoyed it and he ate along.
"But you didn't even eat it!" She countered and I kept my straight face. "Okay, let's pack it." The chief said nicely.
"No, I want only her to pack it." I ordered and he bowed. She threw her head backwards and packed the plates, she twitched her lips. I could see how uncomfortable she was.
"I know that move well." Paul said as he cleaned his lips.
"What move?" I asked him as I stared at the kitchen door and not at him.
"You know, you like her don't you?" Paul asked and I was mute. I chuckled. "Just eat!" I said to him and he continued.
Thirty minutes later.
"Here is your meal" She walked in with a platter of warm toast and fruits. It smelt so nice.
"Okay, where is my juice?" I asked and I didn't show her any sign of comfort or care. She exhaled and licked her lips. She fisted her hands too. I tried my best not to chuckle.
"I will bring your juice." She tried to smile but it wasn't it. I was sure the chief had said something to her.
Paul just laughed, he knew.
"Here is your juice." She stretched her hands. I collected and took a sip. "It's not freshly squeezed, is this store bought?" I asked her as I spat out the orange juice.
She exhaled again and placed her tongue in her cheeks, yes. She tried to keep her manners in check and her words too. It was fun to watch.
"I will get your freshly squeezed orange juice." She groaned and turned away. I went on to have breakfast, I loved the meal and I had a show with it.

"F*ck I hate him." I ranted as I paced around in the dark alley. I wanted to yell and scream, he kept on asking for ridiculous things and they were non stop. He was like a man child. I licked my lips over and over again. “Who cares if he is the Alpha?” As soon as I kicked the stone, I heard his voice, it's so distinct. I had a glass of wine that I swirled over and over again. I got tired of it and I went on to him. He was alone, he was on a phone call, it seems but it was inaudible. It was dark too, so i just knew that i had to pour it on him, i mean he wouldn’t see me regardless so it was a done deal. He was closer to the rocks and it was perfect. I moved closer to where he was and I poured it on him. “Who did that?” He yelled and I ran, I hid by the rocks and I heard him swear over and over again. He finally left and I knew what I had to do. I sighed and walked away, I felt comfortable and relieved.
I walked past the rocks and I met John. "Why did you do that?" John asked as I threw the glass away.
"Do what!" I asked him in anger. I glared at him.
"You dumped wine on him" He answered and I didn't flinch.
"You are accusing me." I yelled at him.
"Chief!" He called out to the chief and I knew I was done for.
Chapter 3.Alpha Jax's Point Of View. The next day "Surprise, Surprise!" I said as I walked into Ivy's parent home. We had unfinished business and what's better, it would make me get closer to their daughter. I banged the door fiercely and got no response, I could smell the people inside, I heard both of their old and slow heartbeats. I felt their fear in the air around me. Even with their fear their hearts still weren't beating as fast. “I can feel you, your fears.. I can hear your heartbeats' I said with a loud voice, I laughed hysterically before kicking the door open. The loud bang that came with the force he kicked the door with shook the house to its hinges, he chuckled loudly and examined the main living room. It was painted in cream and chocolate with matching chocolate sofa chairs to complement the room’s color. The floor had wooden work and it creaked with every step he took. A large but old Television was set on a glass piece on the left wall of the building. Th
Ivy's POVI could not believe what I was staring at. My parents heads were hanging from a rope just in front of the entrance. I feel the tears fill my eyes and fall to my face. I remember the last time I saw them both, my dad telling me to be careful as always and my mom reminding me not to forget to eat, not knowing that that would be the last time I ever spoke to them and saw them alive. Who would have done this? I ask myself and my mind goes back to the letter and it instantly clicks in my brain. Alpha Jax. He was the only one that could be this heartless to murder two middle aged people, cut off their heads and leave them dangling from the ceiling. But why would he do such a thing? How did he know who my parents were and where they lived? What was his reason for murdering them in cold blood? I had so many questions and no single answer. I didn't know what to do and where to start from but after giving it a thought, I decide to call my Father's office and break the news to them, m
Ivy's POVImmediately Ron and I finished doing all the legal paperwork that had to be done at the mortuary, it was already so dark outside but I still wanted to go see the pack at that very minute and it was just because I was hoping to would into Alpha Jax and have a little, peaceful talk with him it maybe not. I had fixed my parents burial for the next day as I didn't want to delay their final rites any further and Ron had tried to give me a piece of his mind but I shut him up by telling him that the people at the force needed to realize that he is my Father before he is the sheriff of the town and if they had a problem with it then they should take up with me. We got out of the mortuary and immediately I stepped out, I took a deep breath in because the air in there smelt of dead bodies and it was not a nice smell at all. I walk to the car and entered while Ron went to the driver side and did the same,"So where are you going to sleep this night? You can stay over at me and Christy'
Ivy's POVI called Ron and ask him if it was okay to move back home but he said that the house was still under some investigations so it was best I stayed with him and Christy, although I already drove past the house and I saw that the investigation tapes have all been removed but I understand where he was coming from and in all honesty, I also did not want to stay at home ,all alone. My taxi pulls up to the front of their home and I can't get over how beautiful it was. It had been a long time since I was here and nothing had really changed yet it was still as beautiful as it had always been. As I was coming out of the car, Christy bursts out the front door and envelopes me in a tight hug even before I could say anything. She was a tall woman and she smelt of cinnamon and honey. She had this aura of making you feel so special and I remember how she used to be my favorite auntie when I was little. She was one of those women you definitely knew would make an excellent mother but the uni
Ivy's POVIt was early in the morning and I was already awake and getting ready to go to the office with Ron. I picked out an outfit I thought was suitable for the first day at work and it was a trouser suit. I came down to the living room and sat down waiting for Ron to come down so we can head out. I was nervous because I sort of already knew how majority of the people at the office will receive me and I dreaded it but I was prepared for whatever happened. I hear some footsteps coming down the stairs and I look up to see Ron fixing his tie"Good morning Ron" I greet him as I stood up from the couch I was sitting on and he looked startled to see me there"Good morning Ivy, I had no idea you were already dressed and down here. How are you? ""I'm good. I hope you slept well" I asked"Yes I did " he nodded"You really look like a madam sheriff with that outfit"he adds while looking at my outfit"Well I'm glad you approve, I was scared I was underdressed " I smile at him"No this is jus
After lunch with Ron where I ran over my day with him, I went back to the office and the day went by in a flash and before I knew it I was back home.Christy had cooked dinner and she made sure I ate then told me to go to bed when I offered to help her cleanup because I had an early morning tomorrow.I got to my room and take the piece of paper I wrote down my revenge plan and put it in a drawer where I knew it would be safe. My first plan on that list was to get as many people at the department to trust me and pledge their loyalty to me and I did not know how I was going to achieve that yet but I was sure that an opportunity was going to present itself to me soon. The next day,I decided to go to the office earlier than everyone even Ron so I had to take a taxi. I arrived and to my surprise some of the workers were already there and it made me wonder if they slept at all. I greet some people at the first segment and start heading towards the second segment when I hear growls and shou
Ivy's POVMy life nowadays has been home to office, office to home and in all honesty I was not complaining because I loved being sheriff. I had moved out if Christy and Ron's house and returned to my home and I was loving living alone. I had solved multiple problems and cases and although my way was technically not how most of the sergeants I've worked with thought the problem could be solved I proved to them time and time again that I knew what I was doing. A bunch of cases we solved were popular so they made it to the news and I had to be interviewed for some of them and just like that I was living my dreams. It was a Monday morning and I was feeling sluggish so I got to the office later than it was usual for me and I meet a pile of paperwork on my table that needed my signature on them and I try to put it off by doing any other thing than it but toward noon I start to find my energy back and I really get to start doing the work. I was already halfway through the paperwork when t
Alpha Jax's POV"What do you mean by that? How can you tell me that a mere human girl did this to you" I thundered while looking at their battered faces.I was looking at their faces and it looked like they had had a fight with a big giant wolf and not the tiny Ivy I had sent them to scare. Their story did not make any sense to me and I was sure that it was impossible but they all insisted that that was what had happened.Did she have some powers that I knew nothing about? Or was she some kind of wolf that had human tendencies? I knew I was pushing it but in all honesty there was no reasonable reason as to how Ivy was able to beat up three heavily bodied men and give them so much injuries that it was hard to recognize them."Are you sure it was only her that did this to you?" I asked them again even though I knew their answer was not going to change."Boss she single handedly did this to all of us, we were fighting back but once we realized that she had an unexplainable amount of stre
Ivy's POV As I stood in front of the mirror, my fingers grazing the delicate lace of my wedding dress, a rush of emotions swept through me. Today was not just any ordinary day; it marked a significant milestone in my life, a moment of redemption and triumph amidst the chaos that had once consumed me. Seeing my children walk down the aisle and read all their poems to me, melted my soul and it laid emphasis on how lucky I was once again to have the life that I have despite everything I had been through. The memories of the past years flooded my mind, transporting me back to the fateful day I first met Jax. I remembered his little nickname that sent shivers up the spines if people when it was mentioned, The Devil Alpha. His presence had initially brought nothing but destruction and sorrow into my life, snatching away my parents and leaving me bereft, broken and searching for revenge which led me into discovering many many things that true me off balance both physically and emotionally.
Jax's POVEverything was perfect. My life was perfect. My wife was perfect. She was the best thing that had ever happened to me in all my years of living. Our trip to Serenity Springs was perfect, in fact, too perfect, like something straight out of a fairytale. I could see why Ivy had always wanted to go there—it was truly magnificent. And nothing could beat our vow renewal ceremony. From the moment we woke up until the moment we fell asleep, the day had been pure perfection. As we boarded the plane back home, I couldn't help but relive the memories every single day. The images of Serenity Springs played like a movie reel in my mind, a constant reminder of the magic we had experienced there."I miss it already," I admitted to Ivy as we settled into our seats. "I wish we could stay there forever."She smiled, her eyes sparkling with nostalgia. "Me too honey. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and I can't wait to tell the children about everything"I pulled her closer, savoring the warm
Ivy's POVAs our vacation continued, one thing was very clear and it was that Serenity Springs had our hearts. The place was truly magical and sometimes I could not even believe it was real although I was in it. Our adventure continued, filled with laughter, exploration, and a deepening connection between Jax and me. Each day brought new adventures and experiences as we delved deeper into the heart of Serenity Springs. One sunny morning, we decided to embark on a hike through the enchanted forest that surrounded our cottage. The ancient trees towered above us, their leaves whispering secrets carried by the gentle breeze. We held hands as we followed the winding trail, our footsteps entwined with the rhythm of our hearts. We had dismissed the tour guide that I had contacted before our arrival just because we wanted to make it feel like a real adventure. discovering everything ourselves was going to be far more fun than someone else just taking us and showing it to us we thought and tru
Ivy's POVIt was so very thoughtful of Jax to plan a vacation for us as my birthday gift. As he presented me with an envelope containing the itinerary, my heart raced with excitement. It was not just a vacation; it was a chance to reminisce about our amazing trips in the past that I sorely missed. Jax knew exactly what I needed, and it was as if he read my mind.As I opened the envelope, a rush of anticipation filled me. Jax had planned a trip to Serenity Springs, a place I had always admired and longed to visit. It was said to be a place of pure enchantment, filled with breathtaking landscapes and a sense of serenity that could heal one's soul. I loved how he was so intentional about everything that concerned me and our relationship.Grinning from ear to ear, I knew I had to take charge and plan out all our activities for the trip. It was always my responsibility to find the fun things to do on these trips and I took pride in it. I couldn't wait to dive into the excursion possibiliti
Jax's POVEver since Ivy and I both officially handed the affairs of the town over to our children, I felt like a big weight had been lifted off my shoulders although I still usually went into the office on some days to see how it was going. Truly some habits die had and I was not being to hard on myself because that had been my life for so many years and now that it was time to change things around I was not going to lie and say that it was easy. The twins were managing the affairs of the town perfectly and flawlessly. It was not hard to see that they had really been paying attention to me when I was teaching them the affairs of the town all those summers ago and it was truly remarkable to see how well they had everything under control, both in terms of the overall wellness of the community and the thriving economy. The town's total revenue just kept doing numbers as days went by and it was a delight to witness it. They were truly doing such an exceptional job that it became apparen
Ivy's POVAs the town continued to thrive and flourish under the wise leadership of the twins, harmony and peace prevailed in our community as always and was the overall goal. It was fascinating to witness how they handled even the most difficult matters that arose yet with intelligence and empathy. What impressed me the most was the way they respected each other's differing opinions, always finding common ground for the betterment of the town. One particular day, as we all gathered at the town hall to discuss an upcoming decision, Luna and Felix found themselves on opposite sides of the debate. Despite their disagreement, they maintained a respectful and calm demeanor, allowing everyone to express their views. In the end, they compromised, incorporating ideas from both sides. It was a powerful lesson in effective leadership and collaboration.Sometimes I would find myself get so emotional as I saw them doing all these grown up things and handling matters so excellently because I stil
Ivy's POVWatching Felix and Luna take on the town's responsibility with such dedication and skill brought immense pride and contentment to my heart. It was as if every lesson their father had taught them over the years had shaped them into natural leaders. Seeing them handle the work effortlessly made me realize that I wasn't needed as much as I used to be. I could take rests now according to my heart's content.Felix, on his own seemed to have an innate ability to foresee any potential issues and find solutions before they even arose. He was meticulous in his planning, always a step ahead of things. Exactly just like his father and it showed in the smooth functioning of our town. The townspeople trusted him implicitly and relied on his judgments in times of need.Jax, although recovering quicker than anticipated, was still unable to work. Despite his condition, he took solace in knowing that Felix and Luna were there to maintain the responsibilities. And although Luna provided suppo
Ivy's POVAs Jax continued to heal little by little, it was without say that he needed all the time he could get to heal so as the Luna of the town and his second half,I found myself shouldering the affairs of our small town. Both his and mine and it was a task that required constant attention and decision-making, and it was becoming increasingly draining not considering the fact that I had already completely zoned out of my office chic era and I just wanted to relax and do the things that bring me joy. I mean that was the reason why I handed over everything to Jax in the first place but as we couldn't control fate, here I was again with more responsibilities than I had previously on my shoulders.Yet, I couldn't bear the thought of burdening Jax with my own worries when he was already going through so much. So, I tried to push through, convincing myself that I could handle it all even when I was crushing under the whole pretence because I had to do it for my husband, the kids and the
Ivy's POVJax had been steadily recovering from the aftermath of his accident, and I did everything in my power to provide him with the care and support he needed. Each day brought a glimmer of hope, a step closer to the restoration of his physical and emotional well-being. I was happy that he was at least finally figuring out and understanding the depths if his emotions and how powerful they were in affecting everything but just as we began to believe that the worst was behind us and everything was going to be back to normal sooner than expected, a cruel twist of fate cast us into a bewildering state of confusion and despair. One that made me to start questioning my faith in the moon goddess, which I had not done in a very very long time but it was all so overwhelming, I didn't know what to do anymore. One morning, I woke up to the gentle rays of sunlight streaming through the window, ready to face the day with optimism. If I had known how everything would have gone down the drain th
