Chapter Forty Seven

As I sat in front of the mirror, watching my hairstylist finish up the last touches of my hair, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotions. Today was the day Jax and I were getting married in front of our whole town. It was a big day not just for us but for our entire pack as well.

Bianca, who was my maid of honor, was with me in the room, putting on her own makeup. We were both talking excitedly about the day ahead.

"Oh my gosh, Ivy, you are going to look stunning in that dress!" Bianca exclaimed, as she turned around to look at me.

I couldn't help but smile as I looked down at my dress, which was a gorgeous, white, flowy gown. "Thanks, Bianca, I just can't wait to see Jax's reaction when he sees me."

I was just about to tell her how nervous I was when we heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," I called out.

It was Mara, the refugee I helped sometime ago but we had grown pretty close and she was also one of my bridesmaids.
