Ivy's POV
I had finally been discharged from the hospital, and everything was going back to normal. I was glad to be back to my routine of cooking and bringing food to everyone's workplace. It brought me joy to see them enjoying the food I had made. However, I was still hurting. Jax and I had a big fight, and we weren't talking as much as we used to. It took everything in me not to break down whenever I thought about it.
He complained that if I had listened to him then I would not have been admitted into the hospital at all but I argued that my complication did not happen because I was cooking and doing the thing I loved doing and it was just a health issue but he of course did not agree with me. I made it clear that I was not going to stop and anytime I went to his office,I pretended not to see the little eye roll he always did to the side because what ever he did wou
I was sitting on the edge of the bed, staring at the clock on my bedside table. It was ticking away so slowly, each second feeling like an eternity. I was scared, scared about what was happening inside my body. I knew that this time, I had to be very cautious. I had to rest more, do less, and eat more. Not for myself, but for the twins growing inside me. I can't bear the thought of losing them like I lost the other pregnancy that I was yet to heal completely from because I just could not stop myself from putting the whole blame on me.Jax came into the room with a tray of breakfast. He had gone down to get me some food like he had been doing for some days now after I barely let us sleep last night because I was worrying and crying so much."Good morning, beautiful," he sai
As I sat in front of the mirror, watching my hairstylist finish up the last touches of my hair, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotions. Today was the day Jax and I were getting married in front of our whole town. It was a big day not just for us but for our entire pack as well.Bianca, who was my maid of honor, was with me in the room, putting on her own makeup. We were both talking excitedly about the day ahead."Oh my gosh, Ivy, you are going to look stunning in that dress!" Bianca exclaimed, as she turned around to look at me.I couldn't help but smile as I looked down at my dress, which was a gorgeous, white, flowy gown. "Thanks, Bianca, I just can't wait to see Jax's reaction when he sees me."I was just about to tell her how nervous I was when we heard a knock on the door."Come in," I called out.It was Mara, the refugee I helped sometime ago but we had grown pretty close and she was also one of my bridesmaids. "Hey guys, Jax sent me to check up on you, he's gettin
Ivy's POVNow we were finally back home from our honeymoon, Jax and I had to get back to doing a lot of work as we had taken a lot of weeks off to plan our wedding. It was a Saturday and it was officially my day off. I had told the office of the royalties that Saturdays and Sundays were my day off and although they had raised their different opinions I didn't care all I knew was on those particular days, I don't show up and walked don't take official calls. I was a wife and mother and I had to take care of my family and myself as well.I had just gotten home from the spa and decided to make dinner from scratch instead of ordering out. Because lately I haven't been able to cook meals from scratch because of how busy I've been and I really missed it. Both the cooking and t
Ivy's POV As the Luna of my pack, my days were filled with attending to the needs of my people and overseeing the progress of our little town, which was growing larger in population little by little. My mate, Jax, was just as busy as I was, handling the construction of new buildings and all his other office jobs that I knew nothing about and it was not because he had not tried to explain that aspect to me a hundred times but I was just not getting it, and ensuring that we had enough resources for everyone. Despite working side by side, we both struggled with finding time to really be with each other and experience our love like I would have wanted us to.One evening, as we were walking home from a meeting, a habit we had developed of recent because I was trying to lose all the extra weight I had put on after the birth of the twins and frankly speaking they were really helping because I was slowly but surely getting back into shape and I loved how I looked again. We were discussing bu
Ivy's POVAs weeks went by, our town suffered from countless attacks by the terrorists. It has turned into a menace, and we knew we had to take action.I hated the thought of war and violence, but I could not let these intruders ruin the sanctuary we had created for our pack."Jax, we need to do something. The attacks are becoming more frequent, and we can't just sit back and let it happen."Jax nodded, "I agree, Ivy. We need to protect our pack and our land, but we also need to approach this situation carefully to avoid any unnecessary bloodshed."I strongly agreed with him because I really did not want to put the lives of our pack members in trouble.
Ivy's POVThe town had become a very dangerous place. The rogue wolves who had kidnapped Felix and Luna were everywhere, and it seemed like they were after something specific. Something valuable. We had to do something and we had to do it fast and as Jax and I sat down to discuss what to do next, we knew that we had to keep Felix and Luna safe from all the things that were happening and although the rogue wolves were defeated, I had a very strong feeling and there was always a chance that they could come back because these evil people always found a way to continue their hatred and we couldn't even dare to risk our children's safety at all."I think we should take them away to a faraway place," Jax said. "Somewhere where no one knows us and them. That way, they won't come to harm and they will be very safe"
Ivy's POVAs days turned into weeks, I watched with relief as the town slowly but surely began returning to its normal state. The chaos and fear that had consumed our streets gradually faded away, replaced by a sense of peace and tranquility. The scars left by the rogue wolves were healing, and the townsfolk were finding solace in the newfound calm. One morning, as I sat in my office, contemplating the next steps to ensure our town's safety, I decided it was time to appoint a right-hand person, someone who could assist me in maintaining order and protecting our community. My mind immediately went to Kiara. She was a force to be reckoned with, the strongest pure blood witch in our town, and her contributions during the battle against the rogue wolves had been invaluable. If not for her there was no way in hell I would have known about the artifacts and all because my witch powers were almost already faded because I had neglected it for the longest of time but thank the goddess that Kia
Ivy's POVAs the flowers bloomed and the scent of peace filled the air in our little town, I couldn't help but feel a void in my heart. It had been months since Jax and I made the difficult decision to send our precious twins, Felix and Luna, to a hidden island for their safety during the war with Bianca and their nannies alongside the both of them and now that the town was thriving once more, it was time to bring them back home, where they truly belonged. One evening, after tucking the children of our town in their cozy beds at the boarding school, I had returned home to a very quiet house and the yearning for my children was the most intense it had ever been since they left home and I could not bear it.I sat down with Jax on the dining table during dinner, and I expressed the longing that had been consuming me."I miss Felix and Luna so much Jax, I know we did what was best for them during those dark times, but now I can't help but feel like something is missing. Our family needs t
