Chapter 11

Evan was woken up by the sound of furious knocking on the door the next morning.

He opened the door to see Quinn standing outside arrogantly. She looked at Evan coldly. There were no emotions in her eyes at all.

Quinn spoke up first, "You seem to be settling well in this place."

"This place belongs to me. Of course, I'm settling here well," Evan shot back at Quinn.

Quinn said sarcastically, "When we signed the divorce agreement, you claimed you didn't want anything, but you had ulterior motives. You're a real fake."

"Your family forced me into this."

"That's enough. I don't want to waste my breath with you. Where's my daughter?"

Evan said in a low voice, "She's still sleeping. If you can't take care of her, then don't. How can you starve her during dinnertime? Don't you know that she's still growing?"

Quinn said coldly, "How I take care of my daughter is none of your business. Don't poke your nose into this. Get my daughter out here. I'm taking her home."
