Liam's POV.
I was finally free from Emily. Free to love Nichole the right way and not hide her anymore. I could finally get married to the girl I truly love and we'll live happily ever after. But why isn't there a fibre in my body that seemed excited for the development? Instead, it felt like I have lost something that I can never get back? My chain of thought was abruptly interrupted by the sound of my phone ringing. It was Jared calling. "Hey, Jared," I muttered weakly, pulling over at the side of the road. "Liam, where are you? Is Emily there with you?" My heart skipped a beat as he mentioned her name. Why am I suddenly beginning to feel this way? I can't seem to wrap my head around what was going on with me. "She's not," I managed to mutter. "I've been trying to call her phone but I can't seem to reach her, I wanted to check on her and see how she's doing now," he replied. "What do you mean how she's doing?" I couldn't stop myself from asking. "Wait, you didn't know that she's ill? She was diagnosed of severe headache two days ago, although I could tell it was more than that, she was trying to act strong," I felt a loud bang on my head as his words filtered into my ears. She mentioned that at the hospital but I was too focused on Nichole's health to pay attention to her. "I guess I'll just go over to the house and see her then," "She's not at the house," I replied. "Where is she then?" "I don't know," "What have you done Liam, where the fuck is Emily!" He yelled. "I don't know man! She requested a divorce, I granted her wish and now she's gone, I don't know where the fuck she is!" I yelled back at him. "You are divorced?" His voice came out in a low whisper and before I could say any more word, he hung up the call. Why was he acting like he didn't know the situation behind our marriage? Nichole is the only lady I love and would spend the rest of my life with regardless of her illness. I exhaled a deep breath, igniting the car and drove off heading towards the hospital. * Walking into the hospital, I headed towards the doctor's office, deciding to have a conversation with him before heading towards Nichole's ward. I was concerned that his hospital was one of the biggest in the country and yet for several months, he still isn't able to find a blood type that matched Nichole's blood except Emily's. Emily is no longer in the picture and Nichole needed a new donor as soon as possible or I might lose her which was my worst fear. Standing by the door, I placed a soft knock and stood back for a few seconds for a response but none came. I repeated the process and when there was no response again, I turned around and headed back to Nichole's ward. The doctor probably stepped out for a bit. Drawing closer towards the ward, I was met with a shriek laughter echoing through the air, the sound of the voice suddenly caught my attention. It was unmistakenly Nichole's. How is that even possible? My heart was already racing drastically as I leaned closer to the door, gazing through the glass window and behold, Nichole was sitting upright on the bed looking quite healthy, she had a wide smile on her face as she discussed with the doctor. I was stuck in-between happiness and intense confusion. How was she suddenly awake and well? I was about pushing the doorknob and rush inside when the doctors next words filtered into my ears. "Since his wife is no longer your problem and he's all yours, don't you think you should drop the act? He's really worried about you," "Yeah I will, but not right now, it might come off a little suspicious if I woke up right after he got divorced," her voice came next leaving me further dumbfounded. I carefully strained my ears to follow up fully in their conversation. "Your payment will be sent by the end of today, I highly appreciate your cooperation," she said and he chuckled. "Anything for a few more bucks," I was raging with anger at this point that I couldn't wait to hear more of their discussion before pushing the door open and stormed in. "This is what has been going on?" She sprung up from the bed, staring at me with pleading eyes, her fingers twitching the edge of the hospital dress. "Liam, I can explain." I dragged my gaze from her to the doctor. "The only thing you will be taking out of this building is yourself, everything else here will be trashed, just like you trashed my wife's blood," "It was all her idea Mr Liam, please...." "Leave while I'm being nice!" I thundered and he scurried off immediately. "Baby, you need to calm down and let me explain please," Nichole feigned tears. I knew better than to fall for her tricks now. "This was all your plot to sabotage my marriage? How could you do a thing like this?" "I did it for us Liam, your marriage was an obstacle for us, I took care of it," she tried to draw closer to me but I stopped her halfway with a wave of my hand. "You fooled me, I don't appreciate being fooled," "What would you have me do huh? I've been tossed aside as your sidepiece for four years Liam and that wasn't what you promised me," "I fucking had it under control!" I yelled. "For four years? But I pulled it off in few months," "By draining Emily of her blood? Who are you?" "Oh, and you are such a saint now, aren't you?" She chuckled mockingly, irritating me the more. "You treated her like trash Liam, you are not better than me," "Nichole... "Fine, I went too far, I'm sorry, but it's already done, and the good thing is that we are finally free to be together," she squealed. "This is the end Nichole, I never want to see you again," my voice came out in a whisper. I couldn't believe I was dumb enough to fall for her trick. "Liam, no please... "Goodbye Nichole," with that, I turned around and stormed off.Liam's POV.I sped out of the hospital ward rapidly almost crashing into the reception seats. Emily's words furiously running through my head. "How possible is it that the biggest hospital in the country doesn't have a blood type that matches hers except mine?" It made so much sense now. It really was a setup.I was too blinded by my affection for Nichole to realize how dumb their plan was. My wife was truly right, she saw through it and tried to protest but I called her bluff instead. How could I not have believed her?The pain that rippled through my heart like a sharp dagger was second to none, It was taking everything in me to keep me standing on my feet.Emily was freaking telling the truth the whole time and I couldn't be the perfect husband to believe her, I had shut her out, and heaped the most horrible misery on her. I divorced her, I fucking divorced her and worse, sent her out of the house I drove her away. Out of my life... Forever!. She was the most purest human I've e
Emily's POV.I stirred tiredly in my sleep, I was very much awake but couldn't bring myself to stand from the bed. Exactly the situation I've found myself over the past few days, I've been way too tired than normal. I doze off at every little chance I get and I eat a lot too.The few days I have spent at the hospital has been unbelievably refreshing, more than I imagined it to turn out. I couldn't believe I felt more at peace in a hospital more than I ever felt in my house for the past four years. I had almost forgotten what calmness felt like. My wounds were now healed up, all thanks to Bridget, the doctor, she never missed a day of treatment, aside that, she visited quite often despite having the nurses attend to me. Adrian as well, has been a strong pillar, he made sure I lacked nothing, he provided everything I needed to heal faster, making me wonder how someone could be so kind to a total stranger. I had disregarded Bridget's words to me during one of her visits testifying how
Liam's POV."Here," I passed the envelope to the detective. "It contains every detail you need to find her, if you need anything else, you can ask for it, I just need you to find her as soon as possible," I had contacted the most competent special agency in New York to aid in the search for Emily. I needed to get my hands on her again and I will never let go. "You have my word Mr Liam, we will get to her before you know it," he stretched forth his hand for a handshake and I accepted it. "You can have this also," I passed a second envelope to him but this time, it contained money. "It's a token of my appreciation for your willingness to do this job, it has nothing to do with your actual payment," I watched as a wide grin broke out on his face."I don't know what to say, thank you so much Mr Liam, this means a lot to me," he cooed happily."You can go now, I'm looking forward to a job well done," I flashed him a small smile. "You have nothing to worry about, I'll get back to you, a
Emily's POV.My heart did a double flip as Adrian walked into the ward. He had a warm smile on his face.I couldn't help but wonder if the smile would still remain intact after I've broken the news of my condition to him.Nonetheless, I had no choice left, Bridget said he hated dishonest people and the last thing I wanted was for him to see me that way. I needed to tell him before he finds out. Pregnancy isn't something that could be hidden for a long time."Pleasant morning, Adrian," I tried to smile through my tensed state."It's always good to see you, Emily," I tried to hide my blush but it was an epic fail. I couldn't stop grinning sheepishly. Adrian is a charming man. He knew the right words to use at the perfect time. It was the first time I was experiencing such level of admiration from a man in my entire existence. "Here, have this," he handed a package to me, he always did that whenever he came visiting. "Thank you," I dropped it on the center table and motioned for him t
Emily's POV.Be careful, don't step on any hard surface," Adrian cooed, his gaze carefully laid on me as he led me towards his car. I had been discharged and he was taking me home just like he had earlier promised. I couldn't help but wonder how someone like him would go out of his way to please someone like me. A hopeless pregnant woman. His kind heart was unmatched. "Adrian, I'm fine, I can clearly see my way," I groaned, rolling my eyes at him. "It's not helping that you see me as a vegetable."He bursted into laughter, shaking his head amusedly. "But veggies are colorful and they add so much spice to foods, being a vegetable isn't so bad you know,"I gasped dramatically, feigning shock. "How dare you!" I growled. Adrian and I have gotten so close over the past few days, and I have loosened up a great deal around him. Despite my firm resolve not to put my trust in anyone since Liam's situation, somehow I could feel myself getting really attached to him and he was gaining my trus
Emily's POV.I stirred gently in my sleep and slowly pulled my eyes open as the early morning sun rays penetrated into the room through the window. It was the first time I was waking up in the morning with so much happiness and peace of the heart. I had almost forgotten what it felt like to be so free and happy.I laid still in the bed for a few more minutes taking in the fresh breath of serenity before standing up and headed into the bathroom. I ran a quick bath and fixed myself together before making my way to the living room."Woah!" A light gasp escaped my lips as I felt a delightful aroma whisk through my nostrils. Someone was in the kitchen and whatever they were preparing scented so incredible. In a bid to satisfy my curiosity, I traced my step towards the kitchen and peeped through the door, my eyes widened in shock as my gaze landed on Adrian with his back against me as he diligently added different recipes into the pot on fire while humming to himself.I couldn't hold bac
Emily's POV. Adrian swiftly turned around to face me with a remorseful look on his face. "Emily, that was totally not supposed to happen, I'm really sorry," "It's... Uhm... It's fine, trust me, no offense taken," I stuttered, struggling to put myself together. That was a really weird incident, I mean, whoever that lady was, she truly was scary. "Don't take her words to heart, those were empty threats," he reached out to grab my hands, stroking them soothingly. I nodded slowly, trying so hard to hide my discomfort under a fake grin. I could tell she meant every word she said. "C'mon, let's eat now," he led me back to the dining. I desperately wanted an explanation for what happened, I wanted to know who she was to him and what could be the cause of their fallout, but he looked like he wasn't ready to talk about it yet. As much as I was desperate for a total disclosure, I also didn't want to say anything that would infuriate him more. No one said a word to anyon
Emily's POV.I looked through the window, tears clouding my eyes as Adrian drove us to the airport. He's had the company sorted and we were finally leaving the country. I couldn't believe I was about to flee the country with a total stranger. But instead of remorse or guilt, there was a pinch of happiness simmering at the tip of my stomach. I was leaving behind the horrible memories that I endured for four years, it was finally time to move on.Adrian was far from being a stranger to me right now. He was a good Samaritan, showing up when I needed help the most, and hasn't given up on me yet. I was glad someone with such a good heart like him existed, if he hadn't shown up when he did, I'd still be in the cold street right now.I was beyond happy he found his way to me just when I needed him the most and I was super excited to be relocating to London with him. It was obvious beyond every doubt that I was in good hands. But despite how happy I was, I couldn't deny that a part of my
Aria's POV. I laid on my bed with my heart beating against my chest. I was confident while talking to Ryan, few minutes earlier because I didn't want him to spot my fear, if my plan will pull through then I needed to seal every trace of fear and nervousness in me.Twenty minutes had rolled by and no sign of Ryan, my eyelids were becoming heavy not because I was feeling sleepy, but because tears had no more room in my eyes as it slowly started rolling down my cheeks. He made his choice already, he chose Eleanor over me, despite the efforts I poured out in struggling to win him back, it all went down the drain, at the end of the day, I lost him, now I have no choice but to move on also, I have Jeremy anyway, this is my clue to finally give up.Suddenly, my door slowly cracked open and Ryan walked in."Ryan, you came!" I exclaimed, cleaning off my tears."Hey, what's wrong?" He asked noticing my tears."Nothing serious, these are tears of joy, I was just reminiscing a good memory," I li
Aria's POV. "I'm really happy for you Aria, you and Ryan finally get to stay away from each other, I'm so glad," Christie continued going on and on about it as we sat in the cafeteria."I know right? each of them now has their seperate partners, case settled, now I can finally stop getting worried about my best friend involving in such an act," Josh added. If only you know Josh."Arya make sure you are with Jeremy at all times, I know you said it didn't work the last time but now that Ryan has someone too, you both should occupy yourselve's with your respective partners and viola, everything will be okay and everyone will be happy," Christie adviced."Easier said than done," I mumbled under my breath."Aria, did you just said that? Wait, are you and Ryan still having something going on?" Christie blurted out.Geez! Did i say that out loud? "My goodness, Christie how could you even say a thing like that? Have you forgotten that Ryan and I aren't in good talking terms since I rejected
Aria's POV."Welcome J," I coed happily, hugging him tightly, and opened the door wide for him to step in."Babe, I'm nervous, what if your dad doesn't like me? What if I don't end up impressing him tonight? you know they already have have a bad impression of me from the last time," Jeremy suddenly blurted as we approached the dinning."Stop getting ideas Jeremy, no one is holding what happened against you anymore, they all now understand that it was a mistake okay? So don't panic? Just do you alright? Who wouldn't like you anyway? Have you met yourself, young man?" I sang the last part in a hoarse manly voice and we both bursted into laughter. "Thank you so much Aria, I really needed that," he smiled."Sure thing," I replied placing a quick kiss on his lips and then held his hand."C'mon, lets go," I dragged him towards the dinning.***We all sat around the dinning table munching our food in silence after exchanging pleasantries.Dad suddenly cleared his throat and looked up."Youn
Ryan's POV.Shit! Shit!! Shit!!!" I screamed repeatedly hitting the steering as we drove around the street, it wasn't Eleanor's closing time, I just needed to be out of the house that minute else I would compeletly loose it."How could she want to wear something like that for that jerk?" "Does she even know how she looked?""Like a freaking pornstar, a fucking pornstar!!! Damn it," I continued speaking to myself as I drove around. My mind couldn't erase the memory of her image, from her pretty innocent face, to her flawless thick smooth thighs, her juicy boobs and erect nipples faultlessly visible to my ogling eyes through the see through singlet, and her firm mouth watering ass perfectly encased in the tight skirt she wore. "She is mine, her body, her heart, all of her is fucking mine!!! I yelled, continuously hitting the steering."Are you okay man? A man in the car next to me shouted out to me."Fuck off!! I yelled back at him.Fuck moving on! I haven't moved on a single bit, why
Aria's POV.I woke up with a bright smile on my face reminiscing about the event of the previous night, I finally admitted my feelings for Ryan and also confessed it to him, though I got a rejection from him, but then again, I got a hug and God knows, its been like ages since we last hugged, Eleanor has been taking all the glory but its time to take back what is rightfully mine no matter what it takes. My plans were to kick off immediately and I was more than ready to swing into action.I grabbed my phone to check what time it is, 11 am."Gosh, how did I sleep this long?!It was a Saturday anyway, so I didn't have anything to worry about. Jumping off the bed, I ran all the way to the bathroom, did my usual morning routine and bounced out."Aria! Ryan, come out here now!!" I heard Dad's voice calling out to us and I quickly rushed out. "Morning mom, morning dad," Ryan and I chorused as we both stood in front of them."Morning babies, trust you slept well?" Mom asked and we both nodde
Aria's POV.I found my way to the kitchen only to meet Ryan already seated quietly on one of the kitchen chairs with a glass of milk in his hand. It's their time of the night, why isn't he with her?He suddenly looked up on hearing my footsteps."Aria, what are you doing still up by this time?" He asked."Just came to grab a glass of milk, I can't seem to get a good sleep," I shrugged."You are having one already, can't sleep too?" I asked walking towards the freezer and grabbed a cold jar of yoghurt and a glass."Nah, I just needed to cool off a bit before going back to bed," he replied and I muttered an 'oh'I had hoped he would say yes, then maybe I would have believed he couldn't sleep because he was thinking of me but he had utterly proved me wrong. We both sat there, sipping our yoghurt in silence."Uhm, I should go back to sleep now, goodnight," he suddenly blurted and stood up turning around to leave."Hey Ryan, can I talk to you for a minute?" I quickly stood up as well.He t
Aria's POV."Everyone come out! I have something to say to all of you!!! I screamed walking from each person's room to another knocking on their doors.Ryan was the first to come out of his room and of course in the company of Eleanor. She practically live with us now."Aria, whats going on? Why are you calling everyone out? Can't you see it's late?" He snapped."I'm sorry guys, I just can't keep it to myself anymore, it's really important that I talk to all of you," I replied."Well then, make it as fast and as simple as possible because some of us were in the middle of something," he said, winking seductively at eleanor."Ryan stop," she whispered staring down timidly. I rolled my eyes and looked away, deciding not to give them the reaction they needed from me. Instead, I wanted to get their attention this time. Almost immediately, our parent's room door creaked open and they walked out."Arya what's the matter?" Dad asked."Uhm, I want to talk to you guys about something really v
Aria’s POV. “Oh, Arya, you are pathetic," I cursed at myself as I stood in front of Ryan’s doorstep in the middle of the night eavesdropping to his love making session with Eleanor. One of the hidden talents I had discovered about myself ever since Ryan and Eleanor started dating, snooping around in the middle of the night when I was sure our parents were asleep only to lean on Ryan’s doorstep cursing and swearing in rage as they made love.Ryan wasn't particularly taking it easy on me, he brought Eleanor home every night and our parents weren't saying anything about it."If you aren't standing here right now, how would you know they are having sex?" My mind screamed at me."Yeah, right," I mumbled, dragging my heavy feet back to my room.*Next morning*I ran out of my room in a rush and almost fell to the floor as I collided with Eleanor."Hey, watch it!!!!" I yelled angrily, my eyes burning with rage."I'm sorry Aria, I didn't see you coming," Eleanor apologized."Eleanor, it's
Aria's POV.An extremely rough couple of weeks it has been for me.Ryan was still being nice to me and acting all ignorant about everything that had happened between us.He had went on with his usual big brother's duties to me except less flirtitious like he has always done, this time, he totally cared less about other guys hitting on me and making passes, he was totally okay with it.I was cool with every other thing but stopping his usual lips kiss was one thing I can't take, not when I was beginning to get used to it, on many occasions I have tried to initiate it, but he would carefully and politely avoid my lips and end up giving me a peck on the cheeks."Siblings don't kiss each other on the lips," he would always politely turn me down. And to finally crown his many tortures, Ryan has returned to being a chronic playboy, I haven't really taken time out to acknowledge how extremely faithful and committed he was when we had something going on, it was almost like no other girl exist
