Chapter eighty five.

Emily's POV.

"There's nothing to talk about Liam," I spat, turning away from him.

"Emily please," he mumbled.

"Liam, that night was a mistake, we were drunk and..."

"We weren't drunk," he quickly cut me off. "We were both fully conscious of our actions, we couldn't control ourselves because we wanted it to happen,"

"You are making a mountain out of a mole hill Liam, it was nothing," I replied. "And please don't send me any more flowers, it's really awkward," I quickly added.

He suddenly went mute, his gaze fixed on the kids playing.

To avoid more interactions between us, I decided to go far away from him.

"Zoya, keep an eye on the kids okay? I'm going to find some peace and quiet," I called out to her and she nodded frantically.

With a last glance at the kids, I turned around and headed out, I had no direction particularly in mind but anywhere far from Liam will definitely do.
