Emily's POV.

"Are you sure you don't want me to take you in? I'd love to greet the kids," Liam said as we pulled up outside the house gate.

"It's late already Liam, the kids are already asleep, and most especially, no one should see us together this late, it is a call for suspicions," I replied.

He rolled his eyes dramatically. "I don't care about what anyone thinks, nothing matters to me more than you,"

My heart fluttered in excitement, Liam always has a way around words.

"That's very sweet Liam, but I think we should call it a night here," I replied.

"Fine then," he breathed in deeply. "I will see you tomorrow?" He raised his brows expectantly.

"Tomorrow is yet to come, Liam."

He groaned childishly. "I wish everything is settled already, I can't wait to spend every minute with you,"

"Well, unfortunately, we still have a long way to go," I smiled sadly.
