PROLOGUE

Nung nawala siya sa buhay ko, my life has been miserable. I don’t have someone to comfort me anymore, no one will kiss her forehead anymore. Wala ng hahalik sa mga paa niya na para bang siya lamang ang sinasamba nito. Nagsisisi ako kung bakit hinayaan na hanggang don nalang kami.

I wanted to end this, I wanted to end my life but I can’t. My… my triplets are waiting for me.

After that incident in the house, nakita niya nalang ang sarili na nakaupo na sa var stool. I don’t even know how I got here. Maybe I just feel like drinking something hard to make me forget all of this.

“Here’s your wine madam.” The bartender smiled at her. I just smiled back bitterly at him. After sipping on my wine, lumibot naman ang mata ko sa kabuoan ng bar.

All of them are having fun with their friends, boyfriends, and classmates. I could feel a stab on my heart when his face flashes on my mind. All I do is to work my ass until I forget him, but why can’t I? Bakit hanggang ngayon siya pa ‘rin?

I grabbed my handbag and reached my phone. I clicked the answer button when I saw someone calling me.

“Momma!” That voice never fails to make my heart feel warm. Parang nawala kaagad lahat ng pagod niya.

So she smiled. “How’s my triplets?” I asked while sipping on my wine.

“Still okay momma,” the first born in my triplets. Her name is Elli and she was always the first one to call me.

My mouth formed like ‘o’ and nodded. “Well that’s good anak,”

“Whach anak omma?” My third born daughter Lila asked. I giggled when I heard her conyo voice. I was thinking of pinching her cubby cheeks. But I can’t, nasa Los Angeles pa rin sila.

“Momma pashalobong ‘pow, ah?” the second in my triplets, Allie.

I nodded and laughed. “Sure girls, wait for momma ‘ha?”

“What about daddy?” they asked. I bit my lower lip. I always find it hard to lie, lalo na at mga anak ko ‘to. “I-I.. Y-Your dad is busy at w-work kasi e..”

“Oh.. wreally? Tell dad that we love him nalang pow momma.” Lila said and after that she giggled.

“Sure.. be good okay.”

“Aye aye captain!”

Tumayo na ako at tinapos lang ang ilang shots bago lumabas at umalis na. Iginala ko ang tingin sa parking lots at hinanap kung saan niya ba nai-park ang McLaren Speedtail niya. Bagong sasakyan niya pa naman ‘yon. Nang makita niya ang sasakyan nNita pinatunog niya muna ito bago siya maglakad papasok dito at paandarin na ito.

I decided to stay at my condo muna, since wala naman ng tao sa mansyon nila. I told our maid that they should take their leave. Mag-bakasyon muna sila, I also told them that I would still be paying them even though na naka leave sila.

Napasinghap siya nang makarinig ng pagsadsad ng kotse sa likod niya, nakarinig siya ng maingay na bagay na nagmula sa perehong sasakyan.

Dali-dali kong itinigil sa gilid ang sasakyan ko at nagmamadaling sinipat ito. I can see how cruel the damage is in my car. Kahit pa gasgas lang ‘to, may damage pa ‘rin ang car ko

“Gosh, my baby.” I muttered.

Nag mamadali kong sinundan ng tingin ang isang kotseng itim na nakatigil ‘din malapit sa akin. Tumakbo ako ‘ron at nangigigil na hinampas ang hood ng kotse nito.

I looked up to stop my anger overtaking me. Kitang-kita niya ang dilim ng kalangitan kasama ang mga bituin na kumikinang sa gitna ng kadiliman. I remember how we both make love under the dark sky like this. Napapikit ako ng mariin, I’m not supposed to bring that back. Am I being mahalay again? Masama bang magpantasya ng ex?

Nakarinig siya nang pagbukas sara nang pintuan ng kotse na tanda na lumabas na ang driver ng sasakyan nito. That’s right bitch! Harapin mo ako! Hindi ko na inabala ang sarili ko na magbaba ng tingin. I’m pissed. Pahuhupain ko muna ang inis ko bago ko harapin ang kung sino man ang lintek na gumasgas ng kotse ko.

Nakarinig ako ng tikhim na ikinapikit ko ng mariin.

Huminga ako ng mamalim bago pinakawalan ang mga salita na gustong kumawala sa bibig ko kanina ‘pa. “You, fucking irresponsible driver! Don’t you have an eye?! My baby has a scratch right now because of you!” Turo ko sa lalaking nasa harapan ko.

Ngunit napatigil ako ng mapagtanto kung sino ang lalaking nasa harapan ‘nya mismo ngayon.

“Miss?”

“E-Elias..”

He gave me a confused look. “Yeah how did you know my name?”

“No freaking way…” I asked out of nowhere, tulala sa kanya at hindi makapaniwala.

I whispered curses.

“Miss?” he uttered in using his cold tone that he used a lot when he was talking to me back then. “Look miss I’m sorry for messing up your car, how much do you want me to pay you?”

Alton Elias Arygos.. the man I seduced four years ago. He doesn’t recognize me? Nang nakabawi ako sa pagkabigla ay tumikhim ako at unti-unting lumapit dito.

I took a deep breath and smiled sweetly. Time to play again my love… and this time I assured that I would catch you in my arms again. Time to play my favorite game of ‘Le Séduire’ again.

“how much?” I repeated. He looked more confused and spacing at the same time.

Sinadya ko pang idikit ang labi ko sa tenga niya, bago ngumisi ng mapalad. I could see desire in his eyes, pero pigilan nito ang sarili at siya itulak siya na ikinangisi niya.

My grin got bigger. “Right, you’re married to me. Remember?”
