OBERON’S REPORT

The next day, Oberon flew in, his wings beating softly as he landed on a nearby branch. "Ava, I have news," he said, his wise eyes gleaming with intensity.

Ava's ears perked up, her heart racing with anticipation. "What is it, Oberon?"

Oberon's feathers rustled in the gentle breeze. "Malicia, the sorceress, was seen at the snakes' den last night. I fear she's forming an alliance with them."

The forest around them seemed to grow darker, the trees looming like sentinels. The air was heavy with an eerie, unnatural silence, as if the very creatures of the forest were holding their breath in fear.

Finn reversed back into the cave, her eyes wide with alarm. "That's not good," she whispered. "Malicia's magic is powerful, and the snakes... they are ruthless."

Orna's fireflies flickered anxiously, casting eerie shadows on the trees. "We need to tell the others," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Ava's face set in determination. "We will. But first, we need to gather more information.
