Once he left Yoldes' palm, Jake looked around swiftly, especially towards the direction of the alley in the back where he had earlier seen those two wild werewolves.

He was scared that they would find out that he had found them and that they would try to "shut him up". However, seeing that they weren't anywhere near, he sighed in relief.

He switched his gaze from the alley towards the pale blue slightly rusty sedan parked across the street and walked towards it in haste.

Once he got in the car, he instantly said in a hushed tone, " Something terrible is going on within the city"
