Someone pats my back in comfort, before heading to the chair at the front and taking his seat.

This is how things have been since the moment they announced her death.

Random werewolves would just approach me and say something comforting, or pat my back in comfort. A child even hugged me and told me that he is sorry for my loss.

I love the fact that my subjects care about me, but it is fucking annoying and pathetic that they only liked her when she died.

They only accepted her after it is too late.

Since she was a rogue that was initiated into the pack by the Alpha, the members of my pack didn't like her. They hated rogues and the only reason they left her alone is because of the fear of the then Alpha, my father.

But they never truly accepted her. The pack members hated her.

Clementina's death still feels unreal. It feels like I am dreaming and would wake up tomorrow morning to find her pestering me to accept her.
