I was pacing around the house, waiting for Josiah and the nurse we sent to look around to give me some news.

"Okay, I am fed up; I am tired of waiting; maybe I can go look around too," Cecelia said.

I looked up and rolled my eyes. I did not have time to deal with imbeciles now.

"For the last time, you are not going there. I mean, what will you say that you came there to do?"

She shrugged. "I will pretend that I went there to seduce Hayden while I tell them that I came to know how Alex was doing.
