CHAPTER 54 - SHE LEFT

There was no difference between night and day for me anymore, sleep was a plague to my eyes as images of my mate constantly flooded my mind whenever I tried to close my eyes. I busied myself round the clock with work to distract myself from my reality.

There was so much work to do now that we anticipated the attack from Hrigh's pack. In normal circumstances, we would not go this length to prepare but we were two days away from doomsday.

"Alpha, we found Nirson." A guard bowed slightly and informed me. He had knocked twice and let himself in, that was the proper thing to do since it was an office.

"Where is he?" I asked with a low voice not raising my head to spare him a glance.

"In the questioning room with the other Alphas."

"Go, I'll be there shortly." I needed to call down before going down to where Nirson was. The sound of his name put Ghost on the edge with a hunger for blood on his tongue.

I headed for my room instead and slipped on my magic bracelet, I could not afford G
