CHAPTER 53 - OBLIVION

This was more interesting than I had anticipated it to be. I felt a lot more powerful having custody of the Alphas’mate.

I had received a note earlier from the brain behind the plan to distract the Alphas and he would deliver their mate to me. At first I felt his idea was absurd but my mother insisted we did exactly as he had asked.

I had created work for Axel and Dante unknown to them but Zephyr lounged at the training arena unmoved. He had dismissed every attempt to draw him into the manor and get him neck deep in his work behind his desk.

I assumed he was in an outdoor mood so I decided to give him a reason to stay out a while longer. It was going to cost me a lot of pain but I knew it was going to be worth it in the end if all went as planned.

I crossed the line.

I went out of the Manor and went past the limits Tyler had previously informed me of and just like I anticipated Tyler came at me like a predator seeking his prey.
