Chapter 58. Make yourself at home

Alex walked up to the front porch with John in tow.

''Wow, this is so homely, the perfect family home'', John said in admiration of his assistants family home.

It was an old double story house with a small wooden porch. The lights were antique. The walls were a light grey colour with a lemon yellow trim around the large stain glass windows.

It was a beautiful sight for the era it was from. It gave off a sense of antique style with the comforts of a loving family that dwelled within. On either side was a one metre stretch of dark green lawn and a white picket fences seperating their yard from their neighbours. On the edge where small flower beds, John could not see properly in the yellow light but he assumed the gardens had beautiful roses.

''Welcome to my humble abode, my friend'', Alex spoke, his words were so humble and kind.
