Third POV

"Give me a kiss, c'mon, the baby wants to give daddy a kiss."

Lana chuckled as she tried to kiss Ethan, he was way taller than her so she had to be on her tippy toes.

"Baby's gonna get mad at his father for ignoring his request" The corners of her lips turned down and she stopped trying so hard to kiss him.

She could tell by the stubborn set of his jaw and the hard glint in his eye that her apology hadn't done much to appease him.

Ever since they returned from their outing, he had been cold and aloof, barely even acknowledging her when she spoke. His only response was a curt nod as if he couldn't be bothered to engage in conversation.

It was a bit upsetting for her but she had no choice but to try to get him to be the way he was when they had first met.

She believed all he said, he wanted to take revenge on them both and that was the only thing he explained to her before wearing a cold chilly mask.

Now, she felt bad and apologizing won't do a thing because she had been
