The next few days went by peacefully, two days soon passed in the blink of an eye.

This weekend, Abigail promised Joyce that she would go out to eat lunch with her.

Since she had promised her, she would not go back on her word.

Adonis was the one who offered to drive her to a nearby restaurant, though Henry had been more overprotective of her lately.

She was at least happy that he could allow her out of the house without getting too worried about her.
