Audrey is in danger

Third POV

"Audrey, mom is home," Abigail called out, it was the weekend and he wasn't having any class today.

She had expected to see him in the living room but he wasn't there, which came as a little shock.

But this was a mansion and he could be anywhere.

Suddenly, a thought occurred to Abigail. What if Audrey was playing with Snow, her beloved bunny?

Abigail ascended the stairs, her feet feeling heavier with each step. She was exhausted, and her body seemed to lack the energy to move any faster. She leaned against the wall for support, taking a moment to catch her breath.

Fortunately, Audrey's room wasn't far from where Abigail was standing. Taking a deep breath, she walked towards the hall and finally arrived at the door. She knocked gently, waiting for a response.

Minutes passed and he didn't respond which was unlike him, she knocked louder this time and she was starting to get worried.

There was no maid In sight except for Adonis who seemed to have been following her around.
