CHAPTER SIXTEEN: FOUND POPPY

I DIDN’T have difficulty requesting the security department for a temporary lockdown because they recognized me when I showed my ID. Nalaman nilang anak ako ng may-ari ng mall, so they also granted my request to review the CCTV footage to find Poppy. Pinili ko muna na ipa-lockdown ang mall para masigurong hindi makakalabas si Poppy. And since they didn't know Poppy, I joined them in monitoring the screens to search for her.

Habang nakatutok ang mga mata ko sa screen, patuloy ko rin pinag-ri-ring ang phone ni Poppy dahil naka-save naman na sa ‘kin ang number niya. Pero maging ako ay hindi niya rin sinasagot.

After a few moments, I spotted Poppy's familiar figure on the screen. I knew it was her because of what she was wearing. White jeans, blouse with collar na kulay cream at sneakers. Kasama niya si Sunny na pumasok at lumabas sa women’s restroom.

“Ito s’ya.” Tinuro ko si Poppy sa mga kasama kong security para matulungan nila akong sundan
