"You didn't say goodbye to them, why?" Emily asked as I drove to my pack
The whole plane ride, we were both silent. And our drive back to the pack was nearly the same.
Emily had nothing to say to me, I too had nothing to say to her.
"Well I wanted to, but they were busy mating with their mate. It would have taken time for them to come out." I answered lazily.
"But they are like your brothers, we could have just waited for them. A day wouldn't kill." She pointed out the obvious.
"I know my love, but I didn't want to spend another day at their pack. I have my reasons." I answered honestly.
She sighed then turned and faced the window.
"Emily I'm sorry, I know that I'm being a jerk right now." I whispered softly as I made a turn and drove towards the packs border.
