"Alpha are you even listening?" Cobi asked in a respectful tone.

I gazed at him with a low sigh then stretched myself in my seat.

"Why exactly am I here?" I asked lazily.

I really wanted to get the hell out of my office as soon as possible. What Ace and I wanted was Emily. All we could think about was holding her in our arms and spending a lot of time with her. Never was there a day I rested nor got lazy to train or fail to attend to my packs matters. But now everything felt different. I didn't want to train nor work. I also found myself appreciating Cobi more than before.
