I watched as ken moved his hands and pulled her in his embrace as she lay against his chest sobbing.

She really was crying. The alpha female was really crying for ken. I didn't know whether to laugh out loud or join in, in crying. 

It was clear that the man I loved was in love with another. Mate or not he was deeply in love with her, that explained how I was more of invisible in his eyes now that she was confessing her love for him.
