"Move it a little to the left." Ms Benedict said loudly to Jason who was trying to put the clock straight on the wall.

Cole sat reading a newspaper but his eyes were frequently on me. As for my mother, she was staring at me with a shocked expression.

Two days ago when we met, she was very happy and excited. She told me how she had a lot to tell me and how she had missed me so much. But all that turned into shock when Ms Benedict told her the truth about their kind and shifted in front of her eyes the next day.

My mother couldn't easily process it all. At first, She couldn't say a word nor do a thing. Then in the evening, she began accepting it, but then Ms Benedict told her about mates and how I was mated to both the twins. That was a huge blow to her mind and she went completely in shock and denial. She couldn't sleep much nor eat.
