SIX

Evelyn POV.

I decided to avoid William at all costs, it's not that easy of a job since he's there everywhere, I keep on seeing him everywhere I go, he's my boss at work, he's the one in charge of vampires, he's even the one who approves my blood withdraws even, I couldn't keep on avoiding him, but I did for a very long until today.

"Mommy, can I come to class with you?" My baby asks, one day she wants to skip school, she wants to stay home, she just wants to be home all day and cuddle, I know that the school life isn't the one for everyone, so I make her go to classes all the time, maybe I'm better off finding her a full-time babysitter so she won't have to deal with new students every day.

"Of course," I say, asking to come to my classes is much easier than having her ask to skip school.

"Yay, can I not wear my uniform?" she asks giving me some puppy eyes, I couldn't say no to her, who could say no to that face, I nodded my head yes, she could, we're taking out vacation very soon now, it's the winter break, and although the school works full time, all year through, but we get to take our vacations and get some time off work.

"Okay love, but just today," I say, and it's only because the vacation is almost here.

She ran toward her closet picking some clothes, I watched her search through, she had her time picking a skirt and a onesie, she wear those instead of shirts and I like her in those a lot.

"These," she says coming toward me so I could dress her, she doesn't do much dressing up on her own, she's too little to manage to get her shirts over her head and put the right hole through, even when she's in her bigger headspace, she's very tiny, she's not a big girl even when big.

"Hands up," I say putting the shirt over her head, I also dress her in diapers and pull-ups full time, she uses pacifiers all the time, along with bottles, and many more baby items.

"Why do you want to get to my classes?" I asked her, she only goes to my class with me when she's super clingy, but today she wanted the class and not me.

"Darjin Veleburs is gonna get me chocolate," she says with a very big smile on her face when I raised a brow at her she went red, she knew that she was caught she wasn't supposed to tell me so.

"Darjin? The black code?" I say remembering that name, he's one strange vampire, I don't understand why he keeps getting allowed to come back in every other year.

"He's code green now," she says with a big node, that vampire changed his code more than once, he keeps getting tested over and over again in a trial to find his perfect one.

"I don't want you to be near that vampire," I say in a firm voice, he hasn't killed anyone that we know about yet, but I have my doubts.

"Me love him, he gives the best hugs," she says happily, I didn't want to break her little heart and tell her that the vampire she was talking about could kill her easily.

"You can be near him only in my class," I say and she nods her head yes, at least she won't be near him out of the class, I could keep an eye on her all the time.

"Let's go, are you hungry?" I say walking her down to the cafeteria so we can have breakfast with the rest.

"Me hungry," she nodded, we walked down to the cafeteria, and we nodded to everyone, saying good morning to the students, I should be to take her to a restaurant instead of just going down to the cafeteria with all of the students looking the same, looking at her as if she's a treat.

"What do you want baby?" I ask looking at the options, I want to spoil her and this won't be enough.

"Pancake," she says giving me some kitten eyes, I could cook for her in our apartment, but I was out of groceries since we're going off soon, and I didn't want to buy many things.

"Let me see," I say looking at the options, thankfully they have pancakes most days, and I got her one plate, she picked a red apple, I got her that one, I rolled my eyes at her, all the younger vampires love anything that's red, and I mean anything, jam, juice, apples, food, as long as it's red, she'd be happy to have it.

I got her the apple and then got my plate before getting to our usual table, I watched her attack the apple with small bites, letting her go crazy on her apple, I started to eat my food, talking with my colleagues and telling them about my plans of getting away for a while, for as long as William is going to be visiting over here.

"Hello pretty one," I heard a voice near us and then a squeal coming from my baby girl, I tuned to them with big wide eyes, whose that?

"Darjin, what are you doing here?" I ask him in a cold voice.

"Good morning Miss Evelyn, I'm here to say hello to the pretty girl," he says looking at my baby girl, holding what looks to be a chocolate rose in his hand.

"What's that?" I ask him in a cold voice, what is he giving my little one?

"It's my homework," he says.

"What homework?" I ask again.

"It's my baking class, we're learning about chocolate and I did this, it's pure chocolate but then it got some red filling," he says with a wink meaning blood.

"Baby, don't eat that," I tried to order her, but she had already bitten right into it, she offered me the other half and Darjin pointed to it with a small smile on his face, maybe he had a good side in him, I took the chocolate and tasted it, it was perfect, a match done in heaven and hell, having the perfect combination of blood and chocolate.

"It's good, I'm sure you'll get an A," I say enjoying the chocolate, it's pretty and delicious.

"Too bad, I didn't make another one, have a nice day angel," he says to my little walking away he just gave away his homework and a sure A, what a strange vampire.

"Bye," Kitkat says waving bye at him as he leaves, she picks a bit more from her food before finally leaving toward my class with me.

Darjin skipped my morning class, maybe that's why he gave her the chocolate earlier in the day, but she was happy and okay with playing with the rest of my students, she had her fun playing with them and teasing them, she's the class kitten.

"Sorry for interrupting, do you mind if I sit in?" a voice that I haven't heard in years says behind me, he opened my class door and was standing there.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him.

"I'm doing a run in the school, now do you mind if I sit in?" he says again, I was ready to take Kitkat and run, but I couldn't do that, I couldn't show him how much he affects me, after all of these years.

"Come in," I say my voice changing now, I couldn't pretend to be strong and in charge, not right now, I'm shaking my whole body is shaking.

"Back to our class people," I say trying to get their attention again, but they weren't looking at me their eyes were on William, the one in charge, our leader was sitting in my class.

"Guys, the class isn't over yet, did you do your homework? I need to see it," I say getting them to submit their homework, I started to look through them, trying to get myself busy while KitKat was keeping everyone entertained, walking around the class.

"Hey pretty one," I heard William say and my eyes shot toward him, that's my little one he's talking to.

"Hello," she says with a big smile on her face.

"What are you doing here?" William asks her.

"I'm here with mommy," she answered him, pointing toward me.

"You're not wearing a uniform," he notices.

"Me nu want to," she says.

"Are you a little?" he asks and she nods, I look at him and see that he has that one kind of smile on his face that look, it's the same look he gave me years back, the day I was changed into a vampire.

"Kitakt, come here," I say trying to get her away from him.

"Mommy, me talking," she says with a big pout.

"Here little one or else," I warn her, and she finally walks toward me with the same pout on her face.

"What mommy?" she asks me sounding angry, and I don't attitude well not from her, and not in front of the whole class.

"Take a seat, I don't want you moving again," I order her and she pouts but obeys, I wasn't sure what I'd do if she didn't, if she decided to keep on bratting.

I finished my class, trying to avoid William's eyes, and my baby's angry glares coming from my side, the class dragged in forever, but I finally managed to get it over with, I dismissed the class, and went to my baby going down on my knees to talk to her.

"Baby, when in class you have to obey mommy, you can't say no to me," I try telling her and she was just pouting, I wasn't really scolding her, I was trying to get time to pass and for William to leave my class.

He got busy with one of my students talking to them and I took that opportunity, I took hold of Kitkat and walked quickly out of the classroom, going toward the parking outside, ready to get our vacation started.
