Everyone who got sick thought hiding their illness from their family was for the best.

Curtis, feeling weak, leaned back and let out a sigh.

"I wish I could fulfill my duties, but if my health doesn't improve and Margot doesn't return to the Morris residence, my family will fight her for the child. I'm not trying to push her onto anyone.

"I just want someone to take good care of her and our daughter. I hope the Morris family can take her back to Emeria so that no one can separate them," Curtis said.

It was clear Curtis couldn't bear to be apart from Margot.

But at the thought of Ashley and Martin's demands and Margot's unwillingness to have another child, Curtis felt he had no other choice.
