It feels like being stabbed, but there's no blood. A sensation of heat arises, but there's no burning. My bones are shattered, making it difficult for me to stand, yet my body is perfectly fine.
That's how I felt when I managed to open my eyes this morning. On a day that had changed its colors, under the sun that gleefully pierced my eyes with its intense rays.
"W-where ... am I?" I tried to get up after realizing that I had fallen asleep in the middle of a vast field.
With a throbbing headache, I massaged my temples and tried to recall some memories. I momentarily forgot what had happened that led me to doze off in a place like this.
