[Seraphine's POV]

"Are you sick?"

I quickly withdrew and covered my stomach with the scarf I received. I couldn't let Cassian touch and feel my stomach any longer. He would know that I'm pregnant with his child.

"I'm not sick," I replied coldly. I intentionally changed my demeanor to make him uncomfortable and stop paying attention to me.

"You said you wanted to take me back to the palace? If that's the case, it's better to do it quickly. I want to sleep in my room," I continued.

For a few seconds, Cassian's gaze remained fixed on my peculiarly-shaped body. It was clear in the eyes of an Alpha like him that he couldn't be easily fooled by my poor acting.

However, it seemed that he was provoked by my emotions. Finally, Cassian called his white horse and made me sit on it.

"Come on up." Cassian pulled my body to get on the horse.

After that, Cassian didn't say anything else to me. During the journey, his hand accidentally touched my bulging stomach a few times. However, not a single wor

[Seraphine's POV]The first impression I captured from the title of the Maximilian High Council was that they were an organization formed by a group of powerful young Alphas. But what I see now feels completely different from what I had in mind. These two palace maids escort me and help me walk toward the special room on the sixth floor. A pair of giant wooden doors adorned with gold greet my arrival. When the gates open, there is a long and magnificent table filled with middle-aged men and a woman. They are wearing the distinctive Maximilian royal attire with a touch of gold. However, the members of the High Council appear too old in my eyes."Are you the girl named Seraphine Valentina?" A woman, who is also the only female in the room, greets me as soon as I step in.She bears a resemblance to Cassian Maximilian's mother (whose name I forgot). The difference is that this woman has intensely blue irises, like a painted cat.I am confused about how to respond to her greeting. When I g

[Seraphine's POV] "Let go of my hair." I jerked him, who was still calmly touching my long strands without stopping. A tinge of disappointment colored Cassian's handsome face, illuminated by the morning sun. I didn't care. Me, the annoyance I felt after learning what his family had done to the Omegas still lingered and hurt me. "Are you angry at me?" he asked. And my response was a curt face, avoiding his gaze. "Seraphine," he called me again. It felt like there was something different in the way he said my name. Indeed, Cassian's voice was much softer than usual. The Cassian I knew always spoke with arrogance or coldness, just like the arrogant Alpha I knew. But now, all I felt was tenderness. And everything became even more mixed up when I realized he was touching the palm of my hand and stroking it. "W-what are you d-doing?" Suddenly, I felt my voice stuttering. Cassian surprised me even more as he pulled my hand and placed his soft lips on my fingers. *kiss* He kissed the

[Seraphine’s POV]"C-Cassian ... Stop all of this ..."I struggled to avoid Cassian's lips as they continued to attack my neck. Our powers were vastly different, and it only got worse as I tried to cover my stomach. There were so many things I didn't want Cassian to know about me. Since I found out how Cassian's noble family viewed and treated Omega races, I became even more certain that I shouldn't tell him about my pregnancy.‘This baby will surely be used by his family. I can't allow that,’ I thought to myself."Nggh ..." I let out a moan as Cassian suddenly squeezed my breasts tightly.I didn't know when his fingers had slipped into my underwear and touched the two mounds of flesh."Ah ..."Now, his mouth kissed the tip of my breast. The warm and wet sensation accompanied the pleasurable shivers I felt. I grabbed a pillow next to me to cover my face. I couldn't let these moans continue to fill the air while I tried to resist his affections."Seraphine, don't hold back your moans."

[Seraphine’s POV]The oral I gave was intense and intoxicating. It took a toll on my jaw as well. My mouth felt like it would come off if I continued to devour Cassian's penis any longer."Mnh ..."I glanced briefly while my mouth was still full, and Cassian seemed to be on the verge of climax. This was my chance. I used both my hands to support the oral by massaging the parts of his penis that my mouth couldn't reach. Meanwhile, I continued to suck and suck his genitals with my tongue."Ah!"Finally, what I had been waiting for arrived. Cassian achieved his first ejaculation thanks to my efforts to speed up the movements. All thanks to my reflexes, I was able to avoid the spurts of ejaculated semen from Cassian."Ha ... Ha ..." Cassian sounded breathless. Understandable. The oral I gave drained a lot of energy. Not just him, but me as well. To cover up my exhausted body movements, I quickly grabbed a towel from the table to wipe my face, which had been hit by the spray of semen.I th

[Seraphine’s POV]"We don't need your money!"Reges shouted boldly at Cassian. And not only that, both of us were surprised to find that the bag Reges had been carrying was filled with gold coins.Reges threw the bag at Cassian with a burst of emotion. As a result, thousands of gold coins were scattered on the ground in such abundance."Take the money! We don't need it anymore! It's ten times the price you paid when we sold Seraphine. It should be more than enough for you to return our child!"With determination, Reges approached me, still in the embrace of his wife. Both Cassian and I were equally stunned by what was happening before us.Cassian was speechless. I'm sure he was the most surprised one here. Under his feet, thousands of gold coins covered the grass on the ground. Cassian certainly didn't expect to receive that much money in return.Especially from Reges, who wanted me to be returned."Reges, what does all this mean? Where did you get all these gold coins?" I asked Reges

[Seraphine's POV]"The person who spread the virus is a resident of this village. We were just late to realize it. And it was already too late when everyone had already been infected by the deadly virus," Reges explained, his face almost in tears. While I'm here, bearing the heavy burden I have to go through afterward. They don't know what kind of virus is attacking them, so they can still be relaxed like this.Unlike me and Cassian, who understands very well how dangerous the virus is if it's not resolved immediately. And it doesn't mean that I, being here, can help them."Reges, tell me where the house of the person who spread the virus in this village is," I requested.Instead of answering, the couple exchanged glances. They seemed to be searching for signals on how to answer my question.I knew it, something is not right here."The person who spread the virus is already dead, Seraphine," Marilyn said fearfully. "He was the first to be infected and the first to die from the virus."

Reges secured his longsword again, as did Marylin, who shifted her focus away from my pregnancy. That night, the three of us visited an old house that Marylin promised would have a ritual taking place.I truly hoped that this time I would get some clues. If my suspicions were correct, there was a connection between the village's ability to summon curses and the virus that was plaguing Silverbook Haven Village._____________"First, this curse requires blood to summon the God of Death to lend us its power. [Seraphine's POV]Unbeknownst to me, at some point, my body was filled with cold sweat as I forced myself to search for useful memories in this place. My breath was ragged, and my head throbbed. And despite all that, I still hadn't found anything."It's pointless. There are no important memories here." Finally, I surrendered and ended my vision. With a staggering body, I remained standing here, pondering where else I could search. This was the only place where I could extract information, considering the few clues we had."Wait. I think I saw the first person infected with the virus being buried here. Is that true?" Just before I turned around and left, my memory shifted to a voice from my vision that mentioned something in this place.Hastily, I immediately searched for the mentioned grave. He stood there, his eyes gleaming with malevolence, a cruel reminder of the pain he had inflicted upon us. The scars of his past atrocities marred his features, a testament to the darkness that resided within his soul. "Dorian," I hissed his name, my voice laced with a lethal combination of anger and sorrow. "You think you can destroy us, manipulate time to suit your sinister desires? You've taken Cassian from me twice, but I won't let you succeed again." His laughter echoed through the chaos of battle, a chilling sound that sent shivers down my spine. "Oh, Seraphine, you're as predictable as ever. Your love for Cassian blinds you to the true power I wield. I've seen the depths of your despair, tasted the bitterness of your failures. Cassian, the epitome of strength and resilience, was now in a dire state. His once vibrant aura was dimmed, surrounded by an ominous darkness that seemed to seep into his very essence. [POV Seraphine] Battle had left me drained, my energy reserves depleted, and my magic waning. I stood amidst the aftermath of the fierce conflict, my chest heaving with exhaustion. The tendrils of my spatial and temporal magic slowly dissipated into the night, leaving me feeling vulnerable and exposed. Jesse, too, looked weary, but his presence remained a comforting anchor amidst the chaos. I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of gratitude for his timely intervention and unwavering support. Together, we had managed to overcome the sorceress's malevolent power, but the cost had been high. I gazed at the sorceress, now defeated and powerless. Her once formidable demeanor had crumbled, and she lay on the ground, breathing heavily, but devoid of the dark energy that had fueled her. The threat she posed had finally been extinguished. However, the victory did little to alleviate the exhaustion that weighed on my shoulders. The relentless battles, the emotional turmoil, and the imm

[POV Seraphine] A sense of reluctant acceptance settled within me as I acknowledged Jesse's presence and the need for an unexpected alliance. We stood together, united by the urgency of our mission. "Alright, Jesse," I said, my voice firm. "Let's work together. But we need a plan, something that can help us defeat the sorceress quickly before she can cause more harm." Jesse nodded in agreement, his eyes sharp with focus. "I have a suggestion," he began, his tone steady. "The sorceress draws her power from darkness and chaos. If we can disrupt her connection to that source, we might weaken her enough to strike a decisive blow." I considered his words, the logic in his strategy apparent. "But how do we disrupt her connection to darkness?" I asked, my mind racing to find a solution. Jesse's lips curved into a thoughtful smile. "I've encountered similar situations in the past. There's a ritual, a powerful one, that can sever a sorcerer's link to their source of power. It requires pre

[POV Seraphine] My breaths came in ragged gasps, the edges of my vision blurring from exhaustion, when an unexpected presence gripped the air. Both the sorceress and I stiffened, our eyes widening in shared astonishment. A powerful aura emanated from the figure approaching, an aura tinged with an ancient, primal energy. "Who ... who are you?" I managed to choke out, my voice barely audible. The words hung heavy in the charged atmosphere, but the mysterious alpha remained silent, their identity shrouded in an enigmatic silence. The sorceress, too, seemed taken aback, her eyes narrowing with suspicion. "Another interruption?" she sneered, her confidence momentarily shaken. "Do you think a mere alpha can change the course of this battle?" The mysterious alpha's silence was deafening. Their presence alone seemed to shift the very essence of the forest around us, commanding attention and respect without uttering a single word.
