Freda's POV

“Look at me when I am talking to you.” He said harshly, and I quickly tilted my head to look at him, heaving a sigh of fear. My breath suddenly stopped as I gazed at the frown on his face. I had never seen so much rage in the face of a man before, not even Hardin. I thought as I tried to look at his face but was unable to look. He came to me closer and whispered in my ear, clearing his throat slightly. I closed my eyes slowly, inhaling deeply as I waited for him to talk.

“You really think I would let go of all you did to me? There is no way I will all that slide.” He said, and I wondered what I did to him that made him kidnap me. I had the urge to ask him what I did to him, but I knew better not to get him angrier than he already was. I kept mute, not uttering a single le word but breathing to calm my racing heart. He took a few steps backward, as he slowly paced around the room. I could only try to steal a glance at him while he walked.
