It’s only Wednesday, and I am already anxious.  I still had two days until my date with Everly.  I was surprised when she agreed to go to dinner with me.  She returned to work Monday, so I sent her a get-well basket.  I was in a meeting when she texted me, letting me know she got it.  I am sure everyone thought I had lost my mind when I started smiling like an idiot during the meeting.  Alek raised his eyebrow at me and shot me a smirk.  That asshole can’t say anything.  I know he has been texting Tianya like crazy, and I am positive something is happening between them.  The fact that she showed up here yesterday is beside the point.  She said they were meeting about something, but I knew that was bullshit but just shook my head and returned to my office.  I know Brent has been texting Kylynn, but I am unsure what is happening with them.

“What has you laughing like a dying hyena?”  I ask.

“Fuck off, we ran into Heath and Brad while we were getting lunch.  Brent told them about our meeting with Kylynn, Tianya, and Everly.  Then I stated that the meeting had gone well and that we had signed a contract to work with them.  I had to cut him off when he started bad mouthing the girls in front of us just like I knew he would.”  Lance says.

“Yeah, the dick had the audacity to tell us that the girls were stuck up bitches and that they wouldn’t last long in the business world.  He started to go on about how they are to difficult to work with and that women will never be able to successfully run a business.”  Alek added.

“He is just butt hurt that him and Heath got put in their place by women.  If I remember correctly they are also two of the guys that Kylynn and Tianya beat up when we were in school.”  I comment.

We all laugh at that memory.  The three of them sit as they set down the food on my desk.  We had just started to eat when there was a knock on my door.  I looked up when they turned around, and six guys stood.  I recognized the guy with dark green hair and the lip ring.

“Sorry to interrupt but we thought that we should meet and have a talk.”  One guy says.

“Come in and have a seat.”  I tell them.

The guy with the whitest hair I have ever seen shuts the door.  I page our assistant and let him know that we will be in a meeting for a while.  Ben says that is fine, and we don’t have anything scheduled for the rest of today anyways.  I tell him thanks and notice that the guy with dark green hair seems interested in knowing Ben’s name.

“Sorry I guess I should introduce all of us.  My name is Drew, the guy with the blinding white hair is Dalton, Cole is the one with the green hair.”  Drew says.

“Well, it’s green for now.  We shall see what next month holds.”  Cole remarks.

“Moving on this here is Gabe, and the two that no one can tell apart except our goddesses are Trevor and Korey.”  Drew adds.

“Well its nice to meet ya’ll.  I am guess that you are here to discuss the girls.”  Brent says.

“Yes, since it is clear that they like you and believe me that is rare. Kylynn and Tianya are not the easiest to win over.  Especially if your a guy.”  Cole points out.

“Well, I am glad that we could win them over and befriend them.  I mean we haven’t known them but for almost two weeks but we like to think of them as friends.”  Alek says.

“Good and this is why we thought that we should let you know what is up.”  Gabe adds.

“First off there are seven of the girls.  Three you have already met.  Kylynn, Tianya, and Everly.  Then there is my sister Vienna, Alayna, Jenna and Zya.  Zya is married to Drew and her, Alayna, and Jenna are Kylynn and Tianya’s back up dancers.  Drew is the other guitarist for the girls while Vienna is their drummer.  Vienna, Zya, Gabe, and I are related to those two.”  Dalton says.

That surprised me.  I can see their family resemblance with Dalton and Gabe, but Vienna and they look nothing alike.  I haven’t seen Zya. I don’t know if she looks like them or not.

“My grandparents had six kids.  Five boys and one girl.  Zya’s mother is my father's baby sister.  Kylynn, Tianya and my father are all brothers.  I am two years older than all the girls.  Needless to say, those four girls were spoiled by everyone in the family.  I have two older brothers and of course Vienna.  Kylynn has two older brothers and a younger brother while Tianya has three older brothers.  Zya had four older brothers.  It was a huge thing when mom and all my aunts were pregnant with the girls at the same time.  I honestly thought my grandmother was going to explode.  She loves all of her grandkids but those four girls are loved beyond measure.  All of us boys vowed to do whatever to protect them.  We have another cousin Dani who just turned 18 but she lives in North Carolina for now.   She is just as spoiled as the other four.”  Cole says.

“As did your father and uncles all of which are retired military.  Three are retired seals and one is a retired marine.  So they made sure all the seven of the girls knew how to protect themselves. They taught them how to fight and how to handle firearms.  Ok minus Vienna.”   Trevor comments.

They explain that Vienna is not the most coordinated person.  They didn’t exactly trust her with a gun, but apparently, she was a master regarding knives.  I am unsure if I should be terrified of those women or turned on because they are badass.  I am still not sure why they are here and why they are telling us this.

“We aren’t telling you this to scare you guys off.  We were surprised when they started talking about you guys nonstop last weekend when we had the weekly family bar-b-que.  Our families as close and my grandparents insist on weekly meals and since it is summer we have a bar-b-que at one of the houses each Sunday.  We think that it would be a great idea if the four of you came this Sunday.  You can bring your parents and siblings if you want.  The more the merrier with our family.”  Cole explains.

“Sounds like a fantastic idea.  We will be there.  Not sure about our parents or siblings but will there be enough food or should we bring some.”  I ask.

“No need to bring anything.  We always cook to much food so that is not an issue.”  Drew points out.

I can tell they want to discuss something else but aren’t sure how to approach the subject.  Korey levels me with a look, and I feel it concerns Everly.

“I know you asked her to dinner on Friday.”  Korey says.

“Sorry if you two are a thing I can cancel.  She never mentioned a man in her life.”  I state.

They all laugh at that.  Ok, so maybe they aren’t a thing.  No, I am even more concerned.

“Everly and I aren’t a thing but she is like a little sister to all of us.  The whole damn family adopted her when Kylynn and Tianya brought her home the first time.”  Korey says.

“She isn’t close with her family is she?”  I ask.

“No, she is not.  Her mother passed away from cancer when Everly was nine.  Her father remarried a year later and her stepmother is a raging cunt.  From the start, she told Everly all sorts of shit and it got worse as she got older.  I know Everly went to Legion until her stepmother pulled her out and placed her in Summer Hill High with us.  She told her shit like she wasn’t pretty and that no guy would find her pretty since she wasn’t what everyone considered the standard of beauty.  You know like a tall blonde with big tits basically barbie.  I know Everly has two older brothers but none of us knows who they are.  I do know that her stepmother doted on them since they took after their birth mother and were blonde with blue eyes.  Her stepmother wanted the perfect family and Everly didn’t fit the look she wanted.  This is ironic since her stepsister and she are still friends and talk all the time.  She also told anyone that asked that Everly was a niece that they took in after her parents died.”  Cole explained.

“Her stepmother kicked her out after she graduated and that is when she came to live with us.  Then the girl's music career exploded and she hasn’t seen her family in three going on four years.  I have no idea what her stepmother told her father or brothers but as far as we know they have not even bothered looking for her.”  Gabe added.

That explains why she thinks that I wouldn’t be interested in her.  Well, her stepmother is dead wrong.  Everly is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, and I would take a redhead over a blond any day.  I tell them that they have nothing to worry about when it comes to Everly.  I have every intention of proving to her that she is mine.  They even spill a few things about Kylynn and Tianya.  I think they knew that Alek and Brent were interested.  I was pissed when they told us about one of Kylynn’s exes who wants her back now that she is famous.  I thought Brent was going to punch something.  Our little talk lasted two hours, and we agreed to hang out again.  I understand why they wanted to have this talk with us, but they don’t need to worry.

“Well that was not what I was expecting to happen today.”  Brent says.

“I know but I am glad that they came and we all had this talk. I think we may understand those women better now.”  I state.

“I would never lay my hand on a woman but I really want to punch Everly’s stepmother in the face.”  Lance comments.

I feel the same way.  I have no idea how anyone could say that to a child.  I bet her father has no idea his new wife was feeding his daughter with all that bullshit.  I can almost bet that if Everly went to our school for a while, so did her older brothers.

“You four look like you just got your asses chewed out,”  Ian says.

“Fuck off asshole, we just had some visitors and a really long talk that was not an ass chewing.” I retort.

Ian and his brother Logan walk in and sit down.  They went to school with us.  Logan was a year younger than Ian and us, but the six of us were close.  They had a rough time when they were younger with their mother passing away, but they got through it just fine.  Their stepmother was different but friendly when we went to their house.

“Any thing new with you guys?”  I ask.

“No, we are still looking for our sister.  Dad finally got the truth out of Regina, and it was awful what she put our sister through.  Three years and counting since we have seen her.  The private investigator can’t even find her using our last name.  We know Kaitlin knows where she is, but she refuses to tell us and says that we should have listened to her a long time ago when she tried to tell us that her mother was being a bitch to our sister.”  Ian admits.

We felt sorry for them.  I know they love their sister, and they always talked about her when we were in school.  Their stepsister Kaitlin was excellent, but she was slightly obsessed with Brent.  Now she is married and has a kid on the way.  I was happy for her, as were the other guys.  Logan asks us if we can come to the house and hang out.  I guess their dad was asking about us the other day.  I told him yes, but it would have to be in a few weeks since we already had plans this weekend.  They are OK with that and will let us know when a good time is.  We walk them out since it is time for us to leave.  I get into my car and smile.  One more day will be Friday and my date with Everly.  I swear this week is going slow just to torture me.

I look at myself in the mirror one last time. I am beyond nervous as I grab my wallet and phone. I haven’t been this nervous since I was in high school. Ironically it had to do with Kylynn or Tianya at the time. I had seen a picture of the two of them that one of my friends had on his phone. How he got it and where he took it, I still don’t know, but I thought they were both beautiful. This was before the rock star thing and their dyed hair, tattoos, and body piercings. I had planned on finding them and asking both of them out. I figured that one of them would at least say yes. If Alek or Brent knew about this, they would laugh at or hit me; I'm not sure which reaction I would get. I have no reason to be nervous, yet I am. I unlock my car and slide into the driver's seat. I click the button, shut the garage, and drive toward the address Everly sent me earlier today. I am fully aware that I have my work cut out for me when it comes to her, but I don’t care. Something about

Ok, maybe the four of us should have been more concerned about meeting their entire family than we were. All of the men in this family are fucking huge. They are all my height or taller. I think Cole’s dad has to be 6’10”. Hell, he might even be taller than that. I can tell you that we were scared shitless, but we sure as hell didn’t show it. After a half-hour of questions making sure we weren’t going to hurt their little girls, which is hilarious, they were OK with us. I wonder if they even know that their little girls beat the shit out of more than half the guys at our school. Alek and I were shocked when they greeted his dad and mine like they were old friends. “We are old friends. We all went to school together back in Atlanta. Not to mention college as well.” Dad says. “Speaking of where is Christian and Lucy?” Uncle Greg asks. “They ran into some hard times and things turned out bad for them. Last we heard they were in North Carolina but who knows.” Kylynn’s dad

I can officially say that I am stressed out. My date with Kaden went great, and I had a fantastic time. The restaurant was marvelous, as was the food. I still can’t believe a man like Kaden would want me, but Cole is right. The man is seriously drop-dead gorgeous. I don’t even come to his shoulders, and since he and Marshall (Kylynn’s oldest brother) are the same height, I know he is 6’3” with his short black hair and light pale forest green eyes (they remind me of stained glass), he is seriously delicious. His perfect pale brown skin suits him well. His parents are so sweet, and he is the perfect mix of the two of them. I almost had a heart attack when I saw Alek’s mother. I had my first doctor's appointment last Friday, and everything went well. My ob-gyn gave me some vitamins to take as well as some medication to help with the vomiting. It has worked great. I still get nauseous, but thankfully the vomiting has stopped for the most part. I was surprised that my ob-gyn wa

It has been a month since we met the women and the rest of their families. The gala was suspossed to be this weekend, but something happened, and it has been postponed. I am not sure when it will be held, but they told everyone that the tickets would be honored and that they were sincerely sorry they had to reschedule. None of us was overly sad about it. I know the girls were indifferent to the whole thing. Speaking of the women, they are out of town at the moment. They have been in Los Angeles for the last week. I am not sure why they had to go, but they are due back tomorrow. Everly went with them since they could schedule a meeting with someone there about a new idea for their business. I guess they are branching out from energy drinks. They haven't told us their new ideas, but I am sure they will once they return since we are their new advertising agency. “This sucks.” Lance groans. “I know but at least they will be back tomorrow.” Alek states. “You do realize that w

I look at the clock for the hundredth time today. It is only 10 am. Since Alek and I had that talk yesterday, I can’t think of anything else except Everly carrying my child. Of course, there is still no positive proof that she is pregnant. She may have just gained weight. I am trying not to jump to conclusions. I knew Alek would try and get his mom to tell him, but she refused. I told him to stop since it was against her oath as a doctor. Everly and I have been texting back and forth, and she has not given any hints as to whether she is pregnant. I asked Alek not to say anything to Lance or Brent until I could confirm she was pregnant. I am not hiding anything; I want to ensure it is accurate before I let them know. This is a private matter between Everly and me, and until I am positive that she is carrying my child, I want it kept quiet. Once I know everything, we will decide when to let everyone else know. Tianya and Kylynn already know, but I would expect them to know.

I feel like shit as I wake up the following day. I sit in bed and pull my knees up to my chin; well, not quite, but as close as I can—images of last night flash through my mind. I should have known when his mother kept looking at me when we were at the bar-b-que. Last night was suspossed to be a great chance to get to know his parents better, but as usual, I ruined it. When his mother asked how far along I was, I thought I would vomit. I quickly came up with an excuse as to why I was glowing. We had just spent a little over a week in LA. We had been outside a lot then, and we all returned slightly tanner. When I looked at Kaden’s face, I knew he was pissed. I couldn’t even look at his parents after his mother called me out. I don’t even want to know what they think of me. I am sure I am not the girl they want their son with. It's not like Kaden will want anything to do with me now. I pull myself out of bed and into the bathroom for a shower. I cried the entire time. Afte

I can tell that Everly is nervous as hell as we pull up to my parent's house. After last night I am sure she is terrified of seeing them again. I know for a fact that they are excited to see her and hear all about the baby. Mom called me while we were still at the site where our house would be built and asked if everything was ok. I told her that it was and that we would see her soon. I watched as Everly looked at the blueprints for the house. I admit that my heart was beating erratically when I told her I wanted her and our child to live with me in the house. When she fell apart in my arms, I knew that most of this deep-seated low self-esteem was caused by her stepmother. While the girls were in LA, I long talked with Dalton, Trevor, Korey, and Quade (Kylynn’s oldest brother). Drew, Gabe, Jayson (Tianya’s oldest brother), and Val (Kylynn’s other older brother) went with them to LA. I was told that Everly’s stepmother did an actual number on her. Dalton confirmed what the o

I slowly wake up when I feel something moving against me. I tighten my arm around whatever it is, but when my hand comes in contact with warm, soft skin, my eyes fly open. I am greeted with a bare neck and a few loose dark strawberry blond hair tendrils. I slip my hand farther up her shirt and onto the small bump. I still can’t believe that this beautiful woman is carrying my child. My aunt did tell us that Everly should start to feel our little man move soon. I can’t wait to feel him move within her. I couldn’t help but stare at her last night when she walked out wearing a tiny pair of pajama shorts and a tank top. Her bump was on full display. That was when I noticed how much her body had changed since she started showing. Of course, I noticed that her boobs have grown since I first saw her, which is to be expected, plus her curves have become more pronounced, especially around her hips. All of this has made her more beautiful in my eyes. I tighten my hold on her more when she starts

One Year Later I had no idea that a toddler could move that fast. I am chasing Colton around the backyard. This little guy is quick. He is a year and a half now and growing like a weed. Everly and I got married six months ago, and everything has been great. Leaving him when we went on our honeymoon was hard, but I know he had a blast with his grandparents. He was thrilled when he got a set of golf clubs for Christmas. Dad and Aaron took him golfing when we were on our honeymoon; now, Colton is obsessed with it. He will actually sit there for hours and watch tournaments on tv. I will probably get him some golf lessons in a couple of years. He also loves hockey. That is thanks to Drew. Justin and Tristian. Those three are hockey fanatics and have taken Colton to several games. I laugh when I see Tianya and Kylynn walking over to where we are. They were suspossed to have started their next tour five months ago, but things happened. They had some issues with the recordings

Six months later “Are you laughing at me?” Kaden asks. “Yes, I am. I am sorry but it was funny.” I tell him. Kaden is a wonderful father to Colton. Colton loves being with his father. I am glad they have such a fantastic relationship, even if Colton is only six months. I can’t help but laugh at the two of them. Kaden was changing Colton’s diaper, and Colton just peed on his father. I was told stories about incidents like this happening, and luckily this is the first time that this has happened to Kaden. I walk over and take Colton from Kaden so he can get cleaned up. I laugh some more when Kaden pouts as he walks to our room. I am in love with our house. When Kaden showed me Colton’s nursery, I cried. I couldn’t believe he had done that for me. The nursery was set up perfectly, and I didn’t change a thing about it. I was surprised to see the glider there, but I love that. That is where I sit when I feed Colton. I love this little man so much. I am surprised that he

I let out a groan as I opened my eyes. The room was dimly lit, which I was thankful for. I looked at the wall, and it was plain white. I knew it wasn’t the room that I was being held in, but I had no idea where this room was. I could smell disinfectant and hear several different beeping sounds. I looked around and realized I was in the hospital. I immediately tried to get up but almost screamed as pain ripped through my stomach. I placed a hand on my stomach to find it soft and flat. I started to freak out when I didn’t feel my hard baby belly anymore. “Calm down, little sprite. Everything is fine.” Kaden says. I look to where his voice came from to see him standing there. His hand is on my arm, making me stay in bed. I look at him, and I can feel the tears in my eyes. I remember hearing several voices, and then the pain started. Shit, I went into labor at that damn house. I also remember seeing blood before I passed out. “Did I lose…” I start to say. “Hush, our litt

I was beyond pissed off. Not only had these assholes been playing games with us for almost a year now they had officially crossed the line. They had kidnapped Everly. I knew the moment Gio walked in that something was wrong. When he said that Everly had gone to meet me at the house after she had received a text from me, I knew they had her. I called Sean immediately and told him what had happened and that Everly had been taken. I could hear him growl on the other end of the line. He told us to meet at the house since she was taken from that place. There were several cars there when we pulled up. “Shit when did they get back?” Gio asked. Standing there arguing with Doug was none other than Tianya and Kylynn. They weren’t due back until tomorrow. I watch as everyone walks into the house. The five of us hurried inside, and I was surprised to see Dad there. He held up Everly’s handbag, and a new wave of anger rushed threw me. I grabbed it and started digging through it. I f

A bolt of pain rips through my head, making me grab it. I feel a large bump, and my hand comes in contact with something dry and crusty in my hair. I gingerly scoot back until my back hits the wall. I keep my eyes closed until my head stops spinning. I open them again and look around. I am in what appears to be a bedroom. I don’t recognize anything in this room. Three weeks is all we have left until our little man arrives. Aunt Lisa told us today that he could really arrive any day. I can tell that Everly is both excited and anxious. Honestly, I am feeling the same way. I still can’t believe that the birth of my son is that close. It seemed like yesterday when Everly walked into that meeting, and then I found out she was pregnant with my son. “You looked stressed,” Lance says. “I am not stressed. I am more anxious than anything. There are only three weeks left until the baby is here. Aunt Lisa told us that he could literally arrive any day now.” I reply. “Everything will be fine. Both of you have tons of support. I will admit your cousin is a big fucking crybaby.” Lance states.

Two more months is all I have left. Thank god, I am over being pregnant. I love my son and feel him move around, but my back is killing me. My feet hurt, and I feel like an overfilled water balloon. I am getting very worried that if he grows any more that I won’t be able to have him naturally. Aunt Lisa told me at my monthly appointment that everything was looking good. From her estimates, she says that he is 7lbs, maybe even a bit over that right now. Of course, that pushed me into overthinking mode. I shudder when I realize that if he gains a pound or more a month until I give birth, he could weigh 9lbs or more. There is no way I can push that out of my body. I can feel the panic attack starting.“Ok, you need to calm down. Everything is going to be fine.” Claire says.&

I am worried about Everly. She has been acting strange this last week. I know it has nothing to do with the pregnancy, so something else is happening. She doesn’t seem any more stressed than normal. I can tell that these last three months are going to be the hardest for her. Our little man has grown considerably, and Everly has been complaining of back pain. I make sure to run her a nice hot bath every night, which she enjoys, along with her nightly foot massages. I love seeing her pregnant with my son, but I also hate seeing her in pain. I talked with Aunt Lisa earlier, but she told me that there is nothing she can really do. She told me that this is normal for being in her third trimester of pregnancy. I hate that there is nothing I can do to help her. Aunt Lisa said doing the little things that I have been a big help in keeping Everly comfortable. I am glad she has stoppe
