__ROSE'S POV____
Neither I nor Jo heard when Nate came down. He is barefoot, which can be the reason why we didn't hear him. Not that he exactly came down, but he was already on the last steps of the staircase. I wonder how much he has heard.
He moved down completely and walked over to where we were seated. He took a seat opposite us and waited for an answer. When none was forthcoming, he asked again.
"What don't I need to know about?" He leaned forward in that intimidating way of his, prepared to intimidate us into answering his question.
"It's nothing. We were just talking." I replied to him and gave Jo a look that said "speak and I'll annihilate you right here." She gulped and faced away from me.
