____ROSE'S POV_____
Helena was still droning on the phone when I heard the knock. I wasn't expecting anyone to knock on my door so it shocked me a bit.
"Helena, I'll speak with you later. There's someone at my door and I need to check who it is" I say and end the call before she could reply. I'm sure she wouldn't be angry about that. I'll just text her later and apologize for dropping the call so abruptly.
My first thought on who it might be at the door is that it's one of my siblings coming in to check on me since I've been gone for a while, since the time I went with Nate. ___ROSE'S POV___When I looked around, I couldn't find who had said my name. No one was looking in my direction or even waving to let me know that they were the ones who called me. I shrugged and assumed that someone with my name must have been called. ___ROSE'S POV___My shout causes Nate to look forward and we see a car coming straight for us. During our argument, he must have derailed from the lane we were supposed to be on the road. He quickly swerved, narrowly missing hitting the car and that could have resulted in an accident that could have been fatal since the car coming from us was one that was large too.We were both breathing heavily when it was over. Since it isn't good to drive with anxiety, he parked the car by the side of the road alongside a stretch of trees. My siblings must have either noticed we parked or they saw the near accident because they stopped and reversed to come and meet us where we were parked.They got out and we did too. ___ROSE'S POV____The "No!" came out a bit higher than I intended and the kids all looked up and faced me. I smile at them."It's fine. I was just a little loud. Sorry". Several faces quizzed me in their own different ways to know if I was actually telling the truth about being fine or if they need to come and rescue me. Using my face, I assured them that I'm fine and they continued what they were doing. I can still see some of the look up in my direction on several occasions.
