Chapter 41

___ROSE'S POV___

When I looked around, I couldn't find who had said my name. No one was looking in my direction or even waving to let me know that they were the ones who called me. I shrugged and assumed that someone with my name must have been called. Only God knows how many people named Rose are in this restaurant given how busy it is. 

I placed my order and I was given a meal ticket that will enable me to collect my food after it's been prepared and brought to the server. We were directed to a nearby table that seats six. On my way there, I heard it again.

Rose.

This time, it is clearer and I can feel like it's me that's been called. I don't think anyone else can hear it except from me. I looked around again, but no one.
