43 = The Mane Knows...

Vlad and Romeo make their way through some of the Prides, heading in the opposite direction, heading toward Nathaniel. They had managed to get a couple of the Prides on their side and had arranged not only security and protection but warrior training for both.

As Romeo and Vlad approached the Vapor-Moon Pride, Romeo felt something that he hadn’t felt in a long time. He knew that Julian and Victoria would be travelling with Nathaniel as his second and third. It is their requirement, however, even though over the years he has had a few close calls with his family, they have never been this close.

He feels the pull to family, but the pull of the loyalty oath with Vlad pulls that little harder, keeping him standing next to Vlad. An uneasy feeling goes through Romeo as they get closer to Vapor-Moon. He opens his link with Jonah,

“Jonah. Something isn’t right. Scout ahead…”

“Yes, boss.”
